The location is great!!! However; my room 1507 was not clean. The bed/ pillow sheets have not been changed for a longggg time. There was some type of lipstick on my pillow. The showers didn’t work good either

Except for the staff who were very nice to us and helped us out, first set of room we were given were dirty and not cleaned after previous occupants. When we were given the second room after, the rooms were less messy but still had stains and trash everywhere. The valet service was nice and front desk was prompt but the property and rooms were horrible. Cant believe its happening at a Hamptons, that too Downtown Chicago!

The AC makes a lot of noise. The beds are very itchy. The bathroom bathtub leaks when showers. I wish I can get a refund.

The Hampton is located in a very safe and convenient location that close to public transportation. The hotel offers modern and stylish decor, along with a clean and friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was constantly well stocked, as well. The one issue that I had was in relation to outdoor noise. The hotel seemed to only noise-proof the interior walls as there was lots of street-noise. All the horns and sirens sounded as if they were happening right next to me even though I was on the 11th floor. I've stayed in big cities before and did not have this issue, so I don't think it's due to the hotel's central location. If you're a light sleeper this could be a problem.

Very helpful staff at the front desk. Charming vintage Art Deco lobby. Quiet location very close to Michigan Avenue and easy access to the Loop. Easy walk to the hotel from CTA trains that serve O'Hare and Midway. (If you have luggage, it is better to get off the Orange Line at Clark/Lake and walk an extra two blocks because that station has an elevator and escalators. The State/Lake station for the Orange Line only has stairs.) I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable Art Deco hotel
The Hampton Inn is located in the AAA historic building (1928)..a classic Art Deco masterpiece. Perfect location near Michigan Avenue. Room was small but well designed and comfortable. Typical Hampton breakfast. Highly recommended

Hotel is not in great condition, floors and carpets dirty. Our room heater was making a lot of noises, hotel staff said they were aware. Sheets had hairs on them and looked like they hadn’t been ch aged before we go there (they did come up to give us new sheets after request), fridge had food in it from previous people. Hotel bar was closed, staff said maybe for a few days. Sheets scratchy but bed was comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good.

Our stay was Terrible . In addition to the noisy room and noisy air conditioning unit , we lost heat midway through our stay during a time when there were subzero temperatures in Chicago outside . The staff did nothing all day to fix the problem or accommodate guests . The manager wasn’t even on site. They made me call corporate which was also useless . Finally I had to contact Expedia who arranged for a different hotel stay and a refund from the current place . We had to pack up and move to a different hotel. Never staying here again !

Overall, my stay at the hotel was average. What made my stay bad was that I never got my room cleaned a single time. I stayed there for four nights, which should have been two nights they should've cleaned my room. My room wasn't cleaned even after informing the front desk the night before that it wasn't cleaned, and they promised that housekeeping would come the next day to clean my room. This never happened. One redeeming thing about this place was that the front desk was nice and helped accommodate me with whatever I asked.

Everything was good. What upset me was the parking facility announced on the website. The webpage mentioned both breakfast and parking.This led me to believe that both were included, but I was surprised to discover that I had to pay almost 70 dollars to park my car. If I had noticed that parking would be charged, I would have preferred another hotel. And I will not recommend Hampton Inn to others.

Cute little hotel quiet comfortable
First time to Chicago kids went to go see a concert nice hotel but small staff was excellent cleanliness was excellent The only thing I didn't like was the view from the room was a conference room from another building I guess but other than that it was nice.
