Upon arrival, the hotel staff stated my reservation for a king is unavailable. She spun the word “reservation” to “request” and said your request was denied. She further stated that we give beds to Hilton Honors members first, then to third-party affiliates. If she did a simple search, she would have discovered I am a Hilton honors member, but that would be too much work for someone so passive and dismissive.
After a long flight, I didn’t have time or patience to clarify her erroneous assumptions, so I accepted the double bedroom and passed out.
The staff are mostly unwelcoming, the hotel feels dated, and the ambience is pathetic- especially during the late hours.
Do NOT even bother booking this hotel from Expedia or Hilton, you’ll get the least effort possible for the most money possible. Caveat Emptor!
