"Hotel is in a good location for access to Clifton Village. Parking is limited and impossible on street. Staff very friendly. Bar expensive. Stairs to top floor are a killer! And small doubles are just that - but if you just want a bed, then that’s what you get. Shower was excellent, but bathroom really in need of renovation - spongy floorboards and chipped woodwork. Didn’t have breakfast - plenty of coffee shops and bakeries only a 4 minute stroll away."

"Great stay as always. I was up on the third floor in a single room, which is admittedly small, but it’s got everything I need. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Complimentary fruit is a nice touch. No lift, but I’m an active 42 yr old, so no issue. "

"Well located guest house which is undergoing refurbishment so covered in scaffolding. My room was up several flights of stairs. Very convenient location. Very friendly staff and nice breakfast. Good value for Bristol and comfortable bed. Parking is awkward as the car park is small and the roads have restrictions."

"Overall this property suited us for where we were going in the area. Parking would be an issue as only a few spaces available on first come first serve basis but this close to the city parking is a problem everywhere I guess. We were in a twin room on the top floor which was difficult for me as I have a heart condition. But I should have specified this when I booked. The kind lady on the desk offered to change my room for which I was grateful but had took my bags up by then and had settled. So...
