Town Centre Home Away from Home.....

"Clare was most welcoming upon our arrival. Street parking was easy. Minor issues that might be addressed would include instructions for the hob(they were not in the oven drawer) and the new coffee machine. Location was good for touring the town and area."

"We had a lovely stay at the Swallow Loft. It is a very unique property perfectly close to Galway’s city center. Peggy was very responsive especially with the issue with the humidity level we were experiencing in the place. I think this place is best for 2 people as the bedroom/bathroom at the lower level smelled a little musty. The overall cleaning looked ok but not fresh."

BROWNSTOWN LODGE - Fishing Lodge & Country House with lake view and secluded location
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (39)
"We absolutely loved Brownstone Lodge. Perfect location near Lough Carra in County Mayo. We were able to do some fishing when the weather allowed. The remoteness of the location was amazing, so quiet and so peaceful. And the lodge was well stocked, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the company of our caretakers and they made sure that we had everything that we needed. We had a lovely time and we cannot wait to come back!"

Beautiful Oakleaf Cottage, Westport, Co Mayo

"This well appointed immaculate home provided all the comforts of home for our group of golfers from the USA. The beds were SO comfortable and the separate bathrooms for each bedroom were a real bonus. The property is tucked away in the beautiful, quiet West Ireland countryside and yet is only a five minute drive from the town center. The backyard is heavenly with a wonderful view of Chroagh Patrick. Áine is an outstanding host and communicated with us every step of the way. Margaret was also...

"We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, peaceful time. The food was delicious, prepared by Joyce, and we got a ton of advice and insight about the area and Ireland in general from Aidan. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again!"

Ballindooley Castle 10 minutes to Galway City
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
"Our family reunion of 6 stayed here for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing 450 year old Tower. We had meals and played games in the great room, viewed the sunsets from the rooftop ramparts and generally lived like the Royal family (minus the servants of course). It served as an unforgettable and spectacular setting for a long overdue reunion for our family. We would return in a heartbeat."

Beautifully refurbished 5 bedroom house, sleeps 10, 3 mins by car from Westport.

"It is a really good house for a group of up to 10 people. It's three minutes from Westport by car and easily walkable too. The house overall was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The beds were really good quality and comfortable too. The only thing I would suggest is it would be great to have a few additional en suites but it worked well as it was for our group. We all agreed that we would happily rebook The Rocks were we to return to Westport again."

Beautiful country house with integrated barn and wellness area facing Lough Mask
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (18)
"We enjoyed a fantastic week at this wonderful property in a stunning location on Lough Mask. The facilities are excellent and Thomas (the host) was brilliant - so kind, thoughtful and welcoming. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and much appreciated after a long drive! The house is enormous and very well-equipped. Sitting in the hot tub and taking in the view of the countryside is simply sublime. If you are lucky, you may see deer grazing around the garden in the early morning. We drove out...

"We were welcomed with a little sweet surprise! After traveling for over 15 hours, it was so nice to come to the Fisherman’s Lodge and find a yummy loaf of bread, Irish butter and Rasberry Jam!! It touched our hearts. The bedrooms were just like the pictures and very clean. Anytime I texted the host, they were quick to reply and very helpful. My family felt at home and LOVED every minute!!"

Traditional cosy retreat in the heart of Connemara
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
"We had an absolutely wonderful stay! We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated, spacious and spotless. Our host Eimear was super helpful and very friendly. We especially liked the garden and the view from the patio in the evening. Our only regret is not making this wonderful home our base and staying longer. Can't recommend enough. Thank you!"

"During our recent family trip to Ireland, we had the pleasure of staying in a delightful traditional Irish house in the quaint village of Oughterard, nestled along the serene shores of Lake Corrib. Georgian Stately Home on Private Lake, idyllic setting, close to Galway City
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (15)
"I was initially rather intimidated by the antique perfection as shown on the website photos and wondered if my rambunctious family would leave it intact but very pleasantly surprised to find the house well worn and quirky . It reminded me of staying in a friends home - there was nothing to remind us that it was a rental -family possessions and photos - books and objects all trustingly left around which gave the house a warm and very haopy feel. Very comfortable beds with good linens and pillows...
