Fantastically friendly and helpful staff, especially the woman overseeing the (expansive) breakfast buffet. Large and welcoming reception area. Great location, easy driving to Burlington & Univ. Vermont (5 mins to UVM). Convenient: a grocery store across the street, and a Costco gas station 1 block away. Quiet rooms, comfortable beds. :-)

When we arrived we were informed that due to renovations and a non-functioning front elevator, our fifth floor room was only accessible by stairs from the 4th to the 5th floor. Normally not an issue but we had a bit of luggage and they had few other options for alternate rooms. We accepted the room and we’re told that for our inconvenience, we would receive a credit if $30 per night. Despite my asking several times and being reassured the credit would come off the final bill, we never received a credit!
We understand that the hotel is renovating some areas but the same pile of dust and debris that was on the dining area floor on Friday was still on the floor Sunday. Our bathroom toilet had a disgusting black ring under the rim that was obvious when sitting in the bathtub suggesting it had been a very long time since the toilet had been cleaned well. When I asked about housekeeping for the room, I was told that each room is only cleaned every 4 days. Four days with the same bath towels was not acceptable to me so we asked for towels and did receive fresh ones but housekeeping never removed the used towels from the room or emptied waste baskets while we were there.
We have stayed at this hotel before and have never been overly impressed but stayed there out of convenience. This stay was by far the worst and we will not be returning.

Looks like they're doing renovations so maybe things will improve, but at the moment the room was a hot mess. Also housekeeping only stopped in once during the week we were there and took most of the trash but didn't bother with the bedding or towels.
Beyond that the staff was friendly, check-in/checkout was quick and easy, and the beds were relatively comfy.

We went there to have a good rest and quiet. Disaster!! We got a wake-up call at 6am!!!
The front desk said it was a mix up.
This should not happen. Our stay was ruined. I asked for compensation. They said to deal with Expedia.

Check-in was easy and quick. Breakfast was included and had good options. The room was clean and had the necessities except for the sofa bed which was missing all sheets/blankets/pillow - not a big deal they provided once we asked. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The ceiling needed to be repainted. Staff were very accommodating and nice.

Good stay but they were doing renovations so some elevators were shut down, areas were clearly in the process of being fixed. My biggest complaint would be that housekeeping had been on our floor on the Saturday that we were there and had left bedding and garbage bags all along the hall. Sunday morning all the linens and garbage were still cluttering the hall. Breakfast was good, hotel was quiet and staff were friendly.

I think they are understaffed. There was a wet bathing suit in the closest when I arrived. The toilet didn’t flush properly. I don’t know if room was really cleaned.

We loved the room. Pillows were a big surprise. Bed very comfortable. Told my husband we have to stay thrre again when we visit my daughter in Colchester. Only thing I can think of that would be better is exhaust in bathroom and higher power of shower.

Was extremely hot at the 3 nights I stayed and barely got any sleep the 3rd night.
Asked front desk to fix the air and apparently nothing was fixed. Window wouldn’t open far and screen was busted.

The bed was the most uncomfortable I’ve slept on I did mention to the front desk as I checked out they said they are in process of changing all the beds

As a disabled vet I found the long walk to my room very painful. Also there are hardly any electric outlets and not enough to serve our needs . Service people were above average check in and out.😊

We had a good stay here. Staff was wonderful very pleasant and helpful. Answered all the questions we had about the area and got us anything we needed for the room. Unfortunately we came while it was under construction and remodeling so access to some areas were blocked by workers and had to go out and around the building to get to a separate access. And there was construction supplies that you had to walk around but over all a very enjoyable decent stay..

The room was very clean and modern looking. I did notice the emergency shower sprinklers heads were all rusty and did not look very attractive so they should be replaced

A bit expensive for the quality and price! Bathroom supplies were not properly planned and attended to before our arrival. Body lotion got over in less than a day! Insufficient Bath towels kept. Had to ask for more. There seemed to be dusty air in the hallways. Carpet looks old. Had a hard time finding a table for breakfast!

The rooms were very cool, especially with the dormer windows. Staff was very friendly and polite. Very close to the highway and other places in VT. And the restaurant next door is also really good. It was a really good experience.

Toilet leaked in first room, so had to switch rooms. Bathroom floor in second room wasn't entirely clean. There were lint and other debris on the floor. Not terrible, but more than there should be in a clean room.

The hotel room was clean but the bathroom was another story. found hair in the drain and there was not shampoo, soap or conditioner in our room which was incredibly annoying. The bottles weren’t refilled so spent way too much time trying to get something out of it.. beds were clean. Breakfast was really good, most of the workers were super sweet, but our check out experience left something to be desired.. Would return just make sure to ask them before checking in that all the room was cleaned and remade for the next guest

Very nice and accommodating staff. Rooms very nice and clean. The only minor issue was that there was only one elevator and it worked about half the time. We were able to trek our luggage up and down the stairs but it may present a problem for others. Hope they fix this soon. I would definitely stay again though.
