Lovely cottage
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The little extras gave it the ‘wow’ factor. Super clean, has everything you need and then some. Lovely welcome goodies. We stayed here because of close proximity to other family that live in the area. I have recommended it to them and their friends in Dartmouth. Very convenient to all stores, ocean beach, easy access to airport, a day in Halifax. This place has it all!

Location, location, access to water and park like setting
Looks like it shows, great location (25 mins) downtown Halifax, need a vehicle. Hosts are good people, and easy to reach and communicate with. We didn't cook much, but full fridge, freezer, microwave, keurig, and stove available. We also did not use the dock and access the water, but landscape is park like and we wished we had more time to take in local Cole Harbour beaches, so peaceful. Will definitely stay again, if we are able to make it all the way out to the Atlantic Provinces.

Excellent host, and the property was beautiful!. Everything needed for as long of stay as required. Susan, the host, helped with most of our day trip plans. Very approachable and happy to help.

Perfect Maritime Spot
We enjoyed our stay at this two bedroom apartment in Cole Harbour. The apartment was extremely clean and the beds were comfy. The host was kind enough to leave snacks and condiments for our use. The kitchen had all that was needed to cook meals. The apartment is above their garage so there are stairs. There was water access provided on the property. This apartment was a perfect place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. Many thanks to the owners.

Peaceful place on the lake
Our boys loved playing on the lawn by the lake and jumping off the dock. The place had everything we needed and was in a central location. Susan was very helpful and responsive to anything we asked.

Vacation
We were 3 adults, lots of room, pictures don't do it justice. The only drawback was the 15 steps up to the loft, didn't like that. A king bed would of been nice too. It was very clean and up to date. Our manager was great, always available by text and quick to respond. Loved Nova, beautiful country, so clean and so much to see, very relaxing.

Great location and the unit was perfectly suited for our family. Access to beautiful Morris Lake was an added bonus. Susan and Irv were great hosts, more than accommodating. We will be back.

Lovely stay
Susan was a great host. The extra little details made the stay special. The location is on a beautiful lake and the ocean is only a 10 minute drive away. All the conveniences such as groceries, Tim Horton’s, etc. were all close by. The property is about 15 minutes from Halifax. I would highly recommend this property.

Excellent, Friendly and very courteous. You would never know that Lisette and her hubby were even here they were so quiet, and left the loft in the same clean condition they found it in, I would definitely accept their stay again, and recommend them to any other property. THANK YOU

Beautiful, restful stay at a clean modern property.

Susan & Irvin are excellent hosts; they are in the background if needed, however they never intrude on your space. The property is very attractive and excellently cared for. The apartment is well equipped and is truly your home away from home.

The property is absolutely lovely - just as pictured
Susan is awesome, she was quick to respond to emails and also give us suggestions while staying. This property is super quiet and calm, the full kitchen meant we could do home cooked meals and the space meant we could all relax. The swimming in the lake is refreshing after sightseeing all day - water was beautiful and often we were the only ones on the lake. And even if you don’t swim the view of the sunset is incredible.

Quiet Lakeside Setting in Cole Harbour
Our stay in a fully equipped apartment owned and operated by Susan Hill at 673 Caldwell Road in Cole Harbour was very enjoyable and convenient for me and my husband. We have family in the area and everything we wanted to do and people we wished to see were nearby. Susan Hill is a very friendly and obliging person. The kitchen was well stocked with condiments, etc. that eliminated the need to pick up these items for use. My husband and I would not hesitate to book accommodations there again, and would recommend it to anyone. Paul and Kay Jollymore

Awesome Accomodations!!
We were visiting family members in the Dartmouth area and this was the perfect place for us. Very spacious and open which allowed us to host the family dinners and get togethers. Everything was there that we needed and the Owners were very accommodating to any requests that we did have. Very centrally located to get to shopping and all tourist attractions. Definitely recommend it to anyone coming to the Halifax area. Janice and Greg

Très beau séjour!
Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans l'appartement de la magnifique propriété de Susan. Tout était parfait. Excessivement propre et tranquille. La vue sur le lac est splendide et accessible. Susan et son conjoint Irvin furent très accueillants et on su nous accomoder lorsque nous en avons eu de besoin. Ce fut très apprécié de notre part. Delightful stay on a serene lake
Our first stay in Nova Scotia was perfect in these lovely lodgings. The home is a spacious two bedroom with plenty of storage room for belongings. Ample windows allow for the cool NS breezes to pass through the living area and the kitchen/dining area. This rental is new construction, so the home and furnishings were impeccable. We enjoyed swims in the lake and casting a fishing rod at sunset. We were able to purchase seafood locally (lobsters, mussels and halibut) and prepare them at the home. We were also in close proximity to restaurants in Dartmouth and Cole Harbour, and a drive or ferry ride to downtown Halifax was simple for meals or sightseeing. We also took a few day trips to destinations 1-2 hours away. Locally there were breathtaking hiking and walking trails that were filled with wildlife. The rental is on the propery with the homeowners, who were extremely accommodating, respectful and delightful when our paths crossed. We would certainly book this property again.
