"Just an great, cute little spot. Doniphan itself is a fun rural missouri town, with hiking and floating opportunities around The site itself is really nice. Theres a propane heater if it gets cold, that works great, and a portable AC to keep temps low when it gets hot. "This was a great house and location. We had a wonderful time. Communication with home owner was amazing. We had some unfortunate damages to some of our vehicles caused by mother nature. The shower is actually in the bathroom off of one of the bedrooms so if you have multi families staying it takes a little planning to use it etc. I feel like knowing that ahead of time might be helpful?. We stayed with 4 adults and 3 kiddos and had plenty of room. Communication with Ben was great he answered really quickly. "I loved the place, it was a beautiful, peaceful view, the cottage was very clean and very well supplied. Beds were very comfortable. The only thing is they did not have propane for the grill when we wanted to make steaks, and we didn’t want to go back into town to get propane, so we use the oven. The manager did say in her property details that if we bought the propane, she wouldn’t reimburse us with the cost, which was very nice. "There were only 2 improvements I would recommend. 1. New bedding 2. Larger soap bars Our soap bar was small and thin and broken before I opened it. I did not ask for another because I had soap with me. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and I would stay there again. "
