I was concerned that it might feel really tight with 6 adults - and it probably would have for a longer stay, but for a quick overnight or a longer stay for a family with kids (who would enjoy the small playground), it's great. "Wow, what a treat! We had the absolute best time at this guesthouse. The host was very friendly and offered great advice about the next leg of our trip. We had a lovely breakfast with homemade pastries from the host’s mother. There is a hot tub with an incredible view of the fjord. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer."

"The only thing negative is the listing showed “Laundry”. That usually means a laundry room that one can do there own laundry. This was you call and the family comes to get it for a fee. It’s lovely in the open country and easy to get to. "

"The cabins were really nice, and some of them look out on a spectacular view. Cabins were clean and warm, and internet was good. Not all cabins have a spectacular view. The instructions to check in were problematic as the keycode was never sent (or never received). In that case you need to go to a different hotel across the street to get the info. The area is beautiful but not developed for tourists yet. "

"I am so glad we found this listing. Being right on a fjord was awesome. The first morning there we saw and heard whales. The property is just far enough from town but not to far. We were able to drive to the tourist sites and not be rushed. For our first trip to Iceland, this location was perfect."
