A Wonderful Stay!
Our all-adult group thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Dana Point Dream Home. It was truly a home away from home with the added stunning views. The house is stocked with everything you need and then some! It is well furnished with comfortable beds and lovely artwork in all rooms. We loved hanging out at the house waiting for the sun to make its appearance. Steve was very welcoming and communication with him was effortless. We will definitely consider staying again.

This is a beautiful home in an excellent location with great views! We were there for our sons wedding; the house worked great for our family. Stephen was great to work with. The only con I had was the beds weren't very comfortable, unless you like a really firm mattresses, then you'll love them.

Wonderful Home!
The home is beautiful, clean and very well equipped. We were 6 multigenerational adult family members and found the property to be perfect to be together and big enough to have our own space when necessary. We highly recommend the property and would definitely stay there again. Thank you, Stephen!

Beautiful balcony view
With a wide range of ages, we had space to join or have private time. The kitchen was beautifully stocked with everything you’d need for meals. We all enjoyed the huge deck overlooking the white water of Doheny. We even got to see a space rocket shoot over the sunset. Our host was gracious and accomodating. Thank yfor a wonderful stay!

Prefect location, wonderful home for family.
Wonderful home for large family, it has everything a family on a beach vacation could want. If they don’t have it, you don’t need it. Easy walking to beach and harbor shops. I can not say enough about how wonderful this home is.

Three floors of amazing views! Extremely well-stocked kitchen and very nice bathrooms with plenty of towels. Located within a short drive to visit San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Laguna Beach and Newport Beach. Quiet neighborhood in a cul de sac with easy access to walking trails, restaurants and grocery stores. Comfortable and spacious bedrooms. Perfect spot for our family to meet for the holidays.

Perfect Home and Location
Dana Point Dream Home is just that! We were a group of 6 adults (3 couples) and selected this home for our stay during a family wedding weekend. The owner, Stephen, was gracious and accomodating, especially when our flight was changed and we needed a later arrival. He met us at the home, explaining all of the features. We arrived after sunset, so we did not get to experience the magnificent view until we woke the next day. But the best word to describe the home, location, and view for us is "PERFECT". We were close to shops, restaurants, and the church where the wedding was held on Saturday. We could not have picked a better spot. The home was very clean, fully stocked with everything we needed, and just "PERFECT". We highly recommend the "Dana Point Dream Home".

Beautiful home with a gorgeous view!
We were in Dana Point for the weekend for the Ohana Music Festival and wanted a place close enough to be able to walk to and from Doheny State Beach each day. Steve's place was perfect! It sits up on a hill overlooking the beach so we could actually hear the music from the deck! We would sit out on there each morning enjoying the beautiful views and listening to the music each day as the bands started around noon. The home is very spacious with three bedrooms on the first floor and another in the basement. The main floor upstairs is completely open with a big kitchen and living room that leads out to the deck with new patio furniture. Honestly, it was hard to leave! Thanks again Steve for sharing your home!

Girls’ Reunion
Our group from Kindergarten/High School gets together every other year at someone’s house. It was my time to host in SoCal. Since I live in the area, I chose Dana Point to house the 10 of us. It is centrally located between two of my favorite places, San Clemente and Laguna Beach. The house had every thing that we needed. The most important thing was a stunning view of the harbor. Our group is diverse with girls flying in from Seattle, Massachusetts and North Carolina. As wel as different parts of California. I highly recommend this location.

Best Beachhouse ever
This is our second year at this beachhouse and we will definitely be back next year. The owners didn’t miss anything when it came to all of the nice touches in this house. Home away from home with a view
Steve’s property was outstanding in every way. Great location, awesome views, and very comfortable beds. There was plenty room for six adults. The property was walkable to shops, cafes, beaches and the harbor. Its an hour 20 minutes to San Diego for a day trip. Disneyland is less than 45 minutes away. Steve was extremely accommodating for early check in and was very gracious to our group. Highly recommend this property for a great vacation!

Wedding weekend
We stay here every Memorial Day for the past several years but this year was extra special because my daughter was getting married. We were able to have the new in laws over for a dinner w the beautiful view and the ladies in the family were able to get ready together in the master suite. First look pictures were done at the corner over looking the beach. We always enjoy our stay and this year the house became an extra special part of our memories.

Great stay!
We had four generations staying in the house and had a wonderful time. The plan was to sit and relax at the beach all day, but the weather was gloomy and cold. Instead we relaxed in the house by the fire and played games. We had a great time and would love to stay again in the summer when the weather is warm.

It was stocked with everything we needed-including a pack n play and high chair as well as a steamer, hair dryers, curling irons, etc... Fantastic location-close to beach, restaurants and shops. The place was perfect for a wedding group!
My husband and our bridal party stayed there for our wedding weekend and it was the perfect house for a wedding group! The basement was the master suite which was great so we could have some much needed alone down time away from the chaos of a wedding weekend, and provided plenty of space for the bridal party make up and hair artists the day of the wedding. The only reason I gave the check in process a 3 was because you have to meet the owner to let you in and walk through which was a little inconvenient since it added a level of planning we weren’t prepared for on a busy wedding errand day. He was flexible though because he lives right down the street.

I prefer to let guests in so that I can show them how to use certain things in the home. I just need an approximate arrival time the day before and a confirmation about a half hour before the guest arrives.

Everything about the house was perfect.
My daughter Was getting married in San Juan Capistrano . My sister and her family stayed with us so it was a family of 10 people. The place was clean spacious and the owner Stephen was very nice. Everything was so centralized . . The beach was like 5 mins away. We already have plans to booked the house next year for a family vacation .

Best vacation ever!
Stephen Pryde was a wonderful host. We’ve been staying at beach houses for 20 years and this was by far the best one. The house was clean well equipped and incredibly spacious. The deck and the views were amazing, close to everything we wanted to do. We will be booking this house again for next year! You couldn’t get a more perfect place.

Fun Family Vacation
We had three families with 5 kids. The house was wonderful. Plenty of room, tons of beach stuff, and baby gear. We enjoyed sitting on the patio where we could see the ocean and enjoy a glass of wine. It was so nice to still have an ocean view but be away from the crowded tea right down by the beach. It was perfect for our needs. The owner was helpful and would respond quickly. We would stay here again in the future.

Wonderful Stay
The location of this property is incredible. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and we were even treated to a "super moon" that reflected over the beach. Stephen and Ann are wonderful hosts - they welcomed us and showed us around the house and they were communicative and accessible throughout our stay. The place was spacious enough for our entire family. We had a great week in Dana Point and the South Orange County beaches. Would definitely highly recommend!

Great Location, lots of room
We had a wonderful stay. Plenty of room. Great amenities . Great central location to explore Orange County. We took a day trip to San Diego and enjoy the day at the beach. In walking distance to a lot of great places but have to remember it’s on top of the hill so plan accordingly for older and younger guests.

A Great Home to Escape To
We have visited Dana Point many times in the past. All of the past properties have meet our needs. However, this property stands out from the rest because of its location and views. The neighborhood is 'tucked' away so that you have privacy (very little car traffic) while enjoying yourself on the large outside deck. Very quite during the day & night even when all the windows are open. Great unobstructed southern views of the ocean and coastline. Fantastic sunrises from the deck!. Easy walk to the stores, restaurants & harbor as well as to the different trails and parks. The owner is easily accessible and very responsive. Steve, thank you for greeting us upon our arrival and for hosting us. We will be back.

Perfect place for family with plenty of room and great views. Family came in from NY for weekend and could not have asked for more. Real clean place and well maintained with anything you need (bath towels, Keurig etc...) . I will absolutely refer my family to consider next time in town

In town for a wedding
My family (5 adults and 2 toddlers) stayed her for a long weekend while attending a wedding. It was a great location not only for the wedding but for all the local attractions and beaches. The house was very clean, comfortable beds, both a k cup and regular coffee pots. The house had everything we needed including a pack and play for the baby and a high chair, lots of beach toys etc. There are quite a few stairs so keep that in mind. Stephen was easy to communicate with and when we discovered my daughter in-law had left her phone behind he was happy to overnight it to her, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The view from the deck is amazing!
