"This is a clean, welcoming, friendly hotel in the market place in the heart of De Panne, and only about 10 minutes walk from the lovely sandy beach. The hotel has character and judging from the old photo of it inside is probably over 100 years old. The breakfast buffet is available from 8am to 10:30am every morning with plentiful supplies of all you would expect from a continental breakfast. "The hotel is in the middle of an enchanting village, yet when you step through the old stately entrance you step into a completely modern, slick hotel establishment. The services lack nothing! Excellent staff that wants to serve your every need."

"Booked a single yet given a double for the same price as off season and hotel more or less empty. Room nice and warm (it needed to be as freezing outside). The hotelier, Pieter, was very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. "

"A comfortable and modern hotel situated in a beautiful and quiet area, yet only 4 minutes from the city centre and 5 minutes from the beach front. Staff were super friendly and service oriented. This is where we will stay next time we go back!"

"The breakfast room was clean and comfortable. We ordered the 12 euros breakfast but had to itemise each day what we wanted, including how many potions of jam, butter, cheese or meat slices. Portion control was heavily employed. However the bread rolls and croissant were good. Our bedroom was pokey and cramped and needed to be modernised. However it was clean. Very soft and uncomfortable mattress."

"We had to park about a mile from the hotel and drag our cases as the resort was full. Reception was chaotic. First we were given an occupied room, then one smaller than booked with no garden view or balcony. After complaining we finally got a larger room but with no balcony or garden view. The rooms were clean but wifi did not work. Would not recommend"
