The property is wonderful. Beautifully decorated with bags of character. Rob was really responsive and left us a comprehensive guide for the property and activities. We had the best time! I'd highly recommend.

Had a really super stay but just a few things not great - ensuite shower room and bathroom were very small. Both flights of stairs twisted and very steep. Our group consisted of 4 adults ranging from 75 to 85 and we found the stairs difficult. Especially from the top floor bedroom as door opened straight onto steep stairs quite dangerous if you needed bathroom in the night. I would add that even with the above-mentioned the property was in an excellent position for beach and town. We were very impressed with the info details provided. The beds were extremely comfortable as was the lounge furniture. I think there should be photos of the stairs in the details of the property. If we had known about the stairs we would not have booked our holiday at this cottage.

Delightful Deal
We had a wonderful stay (2 adults, 3 children) in a great location, with free parking nearby. Our host kindly left us some yummy biscuits and milk on arrival. The property was well maintained and clean. Being a period property, you have the odd creaks and small galley kitchen but the shed, lounge and dinning room gives you more space. The town and beach is in walking distance, with great restaurants, including of course fish and chips, (Seaview) nearby. We went for lovely long walks, bike rides including Sandwich Bay, especially when weather a bit wet! Was lovely to meet the host on our departure, who was nothing but welcoming and informative.

Seaside Holiday
We loved the location— 1/2 block from the ocean and two streets away from shopping! My ten year old son loved the tv and wifi connections while I loved the historic architecture. Husband loved the comfortable bed and outdoor patio. Would highly recommend for week or weekend getaway!

Beautiful quirky cottage
We had a lovely stay in this quirky cottage! It had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. We wanted to stay longer as we’d only booked for the weekend! All queries sent to the owner were answered very quickly. Deal itself is a lovely town with great pubs and restaurants.

Loads of character
Lovely property with loads of character and excellent location. Plenty of space for the 5 of us and the outside space a real bonus. Close enough to the sea to nip down for a quick swim (even in October). Stairs are quite steep, particularly to the top floor - takes a bit of getting used to! Great host and definitely recommend.

Lovely Deal
Had a lovely and relaxing week in Deal. Property was perfect for our group ( 3 adults) with well equipped kitchen and very comfy beds. Lots of lovely features and in a very good location - Deal conservation area is lovely and quiet with lots of character. Looking forward to our next trip !

Delightful Deal
This was our 2nd stay at this very welcoming cottage. This time we were able to take advantage of the delightful courtyard garden too. We love Deal and Dolphin Street and are glad to have found it.

Lovely little cottage
This is a lovely little cottage, very close to the beach and only a couple of minutes from the main shopping area. Not much traffic noise as it's not on a main road.

Lovely house in a perfect location.
The house is beautiful and full of character, as well as being extremely confortable and well-located in a great town. Being so near the beach, it was good to be able to stroll 100m to the sea in the morning or evening and is also very convenient for the town. The house itself also has everything you would need for a holiday.

Cosy 17th Century Hideaway in Deal
Have just returned from a lovely break at this lovely cottage in Dolphin Street. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was beautiful and very well equipped. It was also perfectly located - just a stones throw from the beach and easy walking distance of the many shops, bars and restaurants of this historic town. Would definitely come back!

Character house near beach and town
We had a great 4 days there, Deal is a lovely town with loads of great pubs restaurants etc, and the house was great. Didnt use the car all that much, everything was walkable. There was just the two of us and two dogs so we had loads of room.

Lovely characterful property in a great location
Well equipped property with a compact but user friendly kitchen. Nice outdoor space and very clean and tidy. The stairs are a little tricky to navigate but once you get used to them they are fine. Would be good to have a non slip mat for the ensuite. I would recommend this property.

The house was lovely , 6 adults stayed and there was plenty of room .Everything you needed was provided .We loved the location as its near to everything , bars , restaurant and shops .we had a fantastic time and would stay here again.

Lovely cottage with everything you need and beautifully positioned. Some areas of remedy needed in the decor. Stairs are tricky and I would not suggest young children or anyone with an infirmity. Helpful vuezt accommodation provided in advance and a tasty box of shortbread on arrival. We even had one glorious afternoon and utilised the sunny courtyard-unfortunately we were otherwise subject to a lot of sea must.

A beautiful home in a lovely part of town and only a few minutes from the beach
Our stay was so lovely and the house played a huge part in that. It was modern but with cottage-like charm and character. It was warm and cosy (we visited in November) - it’d be great to go back in the summer to make the most of the gorgeous courtyard garden. It’s a short walk from the town and the beach - an ideal location for families, couples or groups of friends.

This is an interesting little house. Its very near the seafront and the town centre. It has been modernised to a high standard and would be ideal in either the summer or winter. Beware if you have limited mobility, the stairs are very steep. Parking can be tricky and I picked up a ticket on the promenade assuming Sunday would be free. Minor quibbles however as overall Deal and this house are great and I would definitely go again.

Such a lovely house! Beautiful, original and so many details. Really close to the sea, but it is also very nice to sit in the garden. We loved the house, we loved the stay!

Great week in a great house!!!
An absolutely great and cozy holiday home in a great location. We really liked the furnishings and style of the house. The small travel guide that the landlord provided us was very helpful. We really liked the recommended restaurants, excursion tips and shopping opportunities. We will come back!! A little tip: Surf & Turf in the Peer Restaurant on Saturday evenings are awesome!!!

Dieses Ferienhaus ist wahrscheinlich das schönste in dem wir je waren. Versteckt in einer kleinen Gasse birgt das Haus echten englischen Charme. Das kleine Cottage ist mit viel Freude am Detail ausgestattet, und atmet einen einzigartigen Flair, den wir so nirgendwo gefunden haben. Die Lage am Meer ist perfekt, um Kent zu erkunden.

Zuckersüßes Häuschen einen Katzensprung vom Strand entfernt
Super niedliches Häuschen, gemütliches Gärtchen, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, bequeme aber sehr weiche Betten, äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage zum Strand und Zentrum ist perfekt. Die Parksituation angenehm. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt. Die beiden Bäder sind wirklich sehr sehr klein, haben keine Fenster, deswegen gibt es logischerweise etwas Schimmel an den Fugen und es riecht leicht feucht. Dagegen kommt die kleine Lüftung leider nicht an. Für eine Woche war das okay, bei einem längeren Aufenthalt hätte es uns gestört.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus, sehr schöne Gegend
Das Haus ist leicht zu finden und sehr schön eingerichtet, es ist sauber und ordentlich und für 4 Personen sehr geräumig. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, man ist sofort am Strand und schnell im Geschäftsbereich. Deal hat eine schöne Fussgängerzone. Alles in allem ein schöner Urlaub

A wonderful stay in a most charming house in beautiful Deal
Our family had a great time in Deal and this house most certainly contributed to it. It has been renovated to a high standard with a harmonious mix of old and new/modern features. We encountered everything exactly as was described in the text. You cannot go wrong with this house and we would surely choose it again.

Such a charming house
It was such a lovely time we stayed at this beautiful house. We (1 family, 1 person) loved it from the very beginning. All the nice little rooms with the charming interieur, all those nice little impressions and all those rooms with doors, cupboards, windows... The kitchen was stuffed more than at home - wonderful for preparing food and dinner. And in the morning we woke up with the sound of the waves, sea and seagulls. We had two children with us (1 and 10 years old) and both loved the place. After the toddler we had to look because of the stairs (but who wouldn`t have to look after in this age...), the older one just didn`t want to leave after this time there. Only a baby chair was a little bit missing... Everything was just perfect and we`d like to come back - perhaps next year. Thank you so much!

Gemütliches Haus, direkt am Meer. Sehr gut ausgestattet, sogar Kochbücher und Gewürze waren vorhanden. Sehr sauber. Evtl. schlecht für Gehbehinderte, da steile Treppen zu den Schlafzimmern und Bädern.

Excellent, perfect
Zonder twijfel een aanrader. Knusse, gezellige, romantische, nette, volledig uitgeruste vakantiewoning op een boogscheut van zee. Een huisje met een ziel. Bovendien een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor een trip, te voet of met de auto, in de omgeving waar vooral het erfgoed en het Britse platteland te bezoeken is. We keren zeker terug.

Cottage agréable. Manque de rangements dans les chambres. Manque de fauteuils dans le salon mais cheminée top. Ménage à revoir pourtant prix élevé. Par contre bonne literie et cuisine très bien équipée. Cour intérieure agréable.
