"Our stay at Hera Boutique Hotel was excellent. The family who run the hotel immediately made us feel very welcome. They were both helpful and hospitable and made us feel at home. The hotel is quiet and peaceful with a lovely view from the dining area. The location is excellent - within walking distance of the town and main historical sights. Breakfast was excellent and always served with a smile. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"5 stars. Kladya was the perfect host. She was very welcoming and upgraded us to a sea view room, which was very comfortable. There was no restaurant but frequent buses outside the hotel go to Ayvalik and Cunda where there are numerous restaurants. The breakfast was a feast and was a great start to our day."

"It was a terrible experience. Everything was low quality. We had a dead bird on the balcony. My husband took it to the garbage. Air conditioning wasn’t working in the corridors. It was too hot. We choose this hotel because of thermal water but they said they don’t have thermal water since something is broken. We had 2 suits. My kids’ room door frame where the security chain was hanging came off in the middle of the night. I took pictures of it they just glued the frame on the wall! The kids...

"Nice resort, comfortable beds, good balcony to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. water was turned off at night so no showers and was after 8am before the water was turned back on again. Its off season so it only a few guests who would be inconvenienced by lack of water for 12 hours. Biggest disappointment was the breakfast, no coffee and no juice. Its the first hotel I've ever stayed at where no coffee is available at breakfast, not even a packet of instant coffee. "

"The hotel does not have non smoking rooms. The room we were given downstair was very smelly and toilet is in bad condition. They then agreed to move us upstair which has better condition and smell. Dinner of fried chicken breast, two tomatoes and bread costs 25 euro per person !"
