"Great staffs, very polite, very respectful, very approachable, can’t complain. Guess it comes with the culture. Love the activities that are available. Learned a lot from the local staffs with the activities provided by the hotel. Coconut husking, coconut cream making, making head garlands, head bands, hats, sarong tying, dancing etc. Very fully equipped, table tennis, swimming pool, pool table and next to the beach. "

"Tamanu Beach is authentically a Cook Islands style of bungalow accommodation right on a beautiful swimming beach which has lovely sunsets. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The private outdoor showers are a nice luxury. There are 2 pools and the lovely restaurant served delicious meals and cocktails as well as providing great entertainment. The inclusive breakfasts were a wonderful way to start each day. The spa was very relaxing and my relaxation massage was a real treat. The staff were friendly and helpful and our tours and transfers were booked with ease. Tamanu is a lovely relaxing place to enjoy Aitutaki Island. "

Bananas and lemongrass were given free and shared some vinegar for my dressing! 😊 Place is quiet and very relaxing which is also what we need for this vacation. Lots of DVDs free to borrow. Location is handy to shops and restaurants. Parking is ample."

"The hotel and staff were great. Beach is nice and close to the snorkel cruise boats. The lagoon is shallow and good for easy dip or swim although sometimes water is quite warm. Hotel is easy walk to night market, and local store, or easy bus ride to other areas on the island."
