"We were so pleased with this hotel. Were able to check in earlier for a reasonable fee which helped tremendously because we hadn't slept in like 24 hours. Room was was more spacious then I expected, charming lobby/reading rooms and delicious breakfast. Located near some great restaurants and a nice walk to all the shops, etc. Fantastic!"

"Loved the rooftop bar and spa! The spa is small so you book timeslots and we had the whole spa area to ourselves. Staff also allowed us to check in (very) early which was a huge bonus after taking a red eye flight to Iceland. Rooms themselves are a bit more dated than the pictures let on but were clean and had everything we needed. Super nice to have a mini fridge for drinks and snacks."

"This was a fantastic hotel! It was modern and clean. We loved the amenities available (ie: hot tubs and sauna) and it was a huge benefit to have the restaurant available for breakfast and dinner since there weren’t many options in the vicinity. Would absolutely visit again!"

"The front desk staff when we were checking in (couldn’t remember the whole name but start with Aj) was pleasant, knowledgeable and very accommodating. We thought he was the owner! Our room is very nice, clean and roomy, unlike a typical European room, small. The only thing would make this hotel perfect is the blackout drape since the Sun never sets ! The Fiskbarinn restaurant was great not just the food but also the service. The check out staff was also pleasant, he made the best expresso! Highly recommended. "
