"I have wanted to stay here for some time. Finally got to do a pre Christmas stay. Our room was amazing, you get a real feel of the history of the building. A lovely warm welcome, with a welcome letter, giving some history of the hotel. Dinner was so good, a reasonable priced wine list and first class food. Breakfast which was included, so rare these days, and was very good. Really loved our stay and it will now be a place to return to, again and again. Would be a wonderful place for a wedding, family reunion, or any special occasion. Many thanks to the owner and wonderful staff for such a lovely stay."
