"We were quite disappointed in this stay. It was quite loud late into the night and the “bungalows” didn’t keep out the noise. The rooms weren’t specifically clean but the biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The coffee machine wasn’t restocked-no coffee, the choices were vast but not restocked well. We arrived one hour before breakfast was slated to end but 3/4 of the offerings were empty and not restocked through the completion of the breakfast time. The sad part was that we paid...

The property was small but so well-placed to everything that it was a lovely place to rest our heads. "We stayed in the Garden unit for 9 days in mid July. The property is beautiful and Alessandro and his family are wonderful people and great hosts. They were very accommodating to our family by amending the pool hours. The property is perfectly situated to see many great areas around Bologna and all are within about an hours’ drive. "Overall it was great. It would’ve been nice to know that there is no elevator because the apartment is on the 3rd floor and there were a lot of stairs, so if you’re coming with a lot of luggage, it is a struggle. The apartment has a regular bed and a sofa bed, which were pretty comfortable. We did need more sheets and towels during our stay. The location was perfect and the communication with the staff was also very good. "

"This beautiful, spacious, classical Italian style property was the perfect landing spot for our first week in Bologna. On the third floor, ovelooking cafes, wine bars and a vital social scene in the center of University life, we still enjoyed a good night’s sleep in the quiet back bedroom. Then down the elevator and out the front door, we could make our first stop at the cafe just across the street, then head out on foot in any direction to explore this interesting and beautiful city."

It was very clean and the pictures were accurate, and also the host easily accessible when we had problems or questions about the apartment. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and definitely removed from the more touristy areas, which we prefer. We had a lovely stay!"

"The property had a beautiful country setting. It reminded me of an old farmhouse. The outside entertainment area was great. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy it due to the mosquitoes. The property owner supplied us with citronella candles but the bugs won! There isn’t any air conditioning including the bedrooms. It was quite war despite the ceiling fans and we couldn’t leave the windows open because of the bugs. It was a nice retreat after being in the busy city of Bologna."
