"The house is better than the photos portray. It is quiet, feels almost rural, and is within an easy walk to the town square. "Marcello was a wonderful host, attentive throughout our stay, regularly checking in to see if we were ok. He was there to greet us at the start and provided lots of little extras including delicious homemade arancini. The villa itself was ideal and the outside space with the pool was fabulous and well maintained. Staying in an Italian community in a seaside village was exactly what we wanted, just a shame we had to go home! Thanks Marcello"

"The house was absolutely stunning and well equipped. Marilena met use at the villa and showed us through the house - even had stocked in wine, drinks, some starter groceries and we were good to go. Very responsive when we texted a few questions. The house was very relaxing with many places to relax /eat indoor or outdoors. It is a good base to tour southeast Sicily with everything we wanted to do seeming to be 30-60 minutes drive - visiting towns and restaurants."

"Our family (two adults and three children) stayed at Le Dune Residence for a week in June 2017. Despite arriving at midnight, we received a warm welcome from the owner. "Le Maria is a very nice house with a wonderful pool and garden area. A happy herd of cows lives on the other side of the garden wall and the clanging of their bells gives a tranquil countryside feel. The owners Graziella and Sara were extremely helpful and responsive. We did not have the problems with electricity mentioned in other reviews. The kitchens (there are two) are generally well equipped but some more pots, pans, kitchen knives and chopping boards would be good to have."

First of all, the house is perfectly located close to the highway, the city of Ispica, the beach, etc. As it is in the middle of an old farm, it is at the same time quite and green. The house itself is fully equipment, in very good condition and perfect for a family. Our son loved the bed "in the wardrobe". The highlight is the huge pool in best condition. "We’ve been spending 6 days in the villa . Children called the best holiday ever . House and the outside area are wonderful, especially pool . We managed to relax ,spend time together . "Das Haus ist wirklich toll und die Vermieter sehr nett. Auch wenn Kleinigkeiten in der Küche gefehlt haben (die vielleicht auch die meisten nicht brauchen wir z.B eine Käsereibe) war eigentlich alles da, was man braucht. Die Vermieter haben auch direkt immer alles vorbeigebracht wenn etwas gefehlt hat. Das Haus ist super Videoüberwacht und gepflegt und man fühlt sich sehr sicher."
