"Reception opens at 5pm We went at 4:50pm and the receptionist yelled at us for showing up early I have traveled to over 80 countries and stayed at 100’s of hotels over the past 30 years Have not met someone more rude The hotel is clean (more like a motel). We came here for the church and this was the only option on Expedia "

"This was a neat opportunity to stay in a chateau (which by definition has modern conveniences retro-fitted). The room was nice enough. The optional breakfast was quite good - and very convenient for the area. The grounds are beautiful, we enjoyed a picnic lunch in the yard (which has a bunch of tables set up )."

"Booked suite as listed as separate sitting area and deep bathtub ( after long day travelling). Got there 20.10 to be told restaurant closed, room was more like a triple with only a single bed in the sitting room area, no chair or table there. There was a tiny bathroom with no bath. Noisy extractor fan on all night even with lights all off an no isolating switch to turn off. Felt cramped into a small double with a spare bed to put a case on. Definitely not a suite so extra £20 charge for suite ...
