"Love staying here. Was sent an email a day prior to our stay and was told I could put a bid in for an upgrade. As my deal included an upgrade if available I didn’t make an offer. Was very disappointed when Iwe were told no chance of an upgrade. Surprised as it was the day b4 and it was a midweek stay. Otherwise enjoyable. "

"I always stay at the Grand Hyatt when I visit Melbourne. Unfortunately this stay wasn’t as I remembered it. The staff member who checked me in was dry I didn't get a nice welcome. He said Hello and then proceeded to check me in. I noticed the lady next to him checked in someone and asked about their day and their stay. The gentleman then gave me my cards and said bye without telling me where the lifts are (I know where they are, but assuming he didn't know that I had been here before). The bar...

"It is in a laneway so not the grand entranve style hotel, but only one street away from trams, pubs, coffee shops and food. All within the free tram zone, which is an excellent service the city of Melbourne provides. Also leas than 2 mins walk to the old trolle tram 35 - melbournes tourism tram - also free - go melbourne"
