"Amazing checkin . We arrived early and so were advised to perhaps have a drink until our room was ready . The lovely receptionist came & found us in the bar and let us know our room was ready .. That’s first class service ! Thank you "

"We had a really wonderful stay. Everyone was so welcoming from reception to Refuge bar staff, even the lovely guy constantly cleaning the walk ways. Jazz in the Refuge was an unexpected surprise along with the signature clock tower scent. "

"I had booked a room without a window and upgraded. It was a lovely large double aspect room. The noise from the road both traffic and construction work was fierce. I will return but will ensure I have a room without a window. It will be quieter and I will get sleep. Breakfast was okay. Orange juice was lovely. I was down for 7.30am when it starts. The scrambled egg was stone cold and at best the rest was lukewarm. No grapefruit and/or prunes. The fruit was either an apple or orange. "
