The service at dinner was excellent despite how many diners arrived over a short time. Large groups and individuals were served promptly, and with a smile.

Comfortable Accommodations. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing with so many options for a vegetarian like me.

Rooms absolutely tiny. Small double beds not big enough for 2 adults. Very noisy corridors. Food decent but a little costly. Breakfast ok. Staff more interested in mobile notifications than answering questions. Unlikely to return.

Hidden gem
A hidden gem. Gorgeous buildings and view! Like an old stately home! Receptionist was lovely. Renovated rooms are gorgeous. Breakfast delicious

Nice hotel. Great staff
A nice "beige' hotel. Decor is a bit dated but room was a good size, clean and comfortable. All staff are really friendly and helpful. Evening meal was ok and lots of choice for breakfast. I would stay here again

Great location, lovely rooms
Convenient location. Room was large by European standards, bed very comfy. Would have liked a few more snack option on site as few shops near by, but this a minor quibble. Food in restaurant was great, though a bit pricey. Would stay again.

our room was on the second floor and i had to carry two heavy suitcases up the stairs. also long walk from parking to entrance, they need a door at the back of the hotel near the parking. I could not call out from the phone in my room, they only have internal calls. the staff were good and the hotel was clean

The parking is a major plus point. It is a lovely old family type hotel. Food was excellent. I had come for a quiet ‘night off’ but unfortunately was put in a room near to ladies having a party in their room - very noisy til late.

There was marks on the bedding and a hole in pillow cases also the room was dusty.The breakfast was alway out of a item so after telling staff we had to wait for it to be cooked.The evening meal menu there was too many dishes that was SMOKED fish

The hotel has beautiful gardens and views. It's very close to the Botanical Gardens and there are buses in to town. The dinner menu is very good. The staff work extemely hard. I feel that more staff are needed as that would be helpful to people staying and also mean that the staff had a better work experience

Beautiful setting
Loved the location opposite the Botanical gardens. Room was comfortable and clean, Food in restaurant was excellent. All staff friendly and helpful. I would recommend to friends .
