We did have a lovely time, very relaxing weekend. The breakfast was very good and definitely what you would expect . The Spa facilities are also nice, however, it could use a little refurbishing.

Lovely hotel, great decor, spa and food. Only issue is the walls aren’t particular soundproof so was woken up throughout the night by noise from above and in the corridor.

Lovely staff who could not do enough to help you. Heating - was a bit cold at times but staff provided us with a heater

Generally the room was tired and lacked attention to cleanliness. Although we left the usual cleaning instructions on the room door in the morning we returned in the late evening to find nothing had been touched and no clean towels etc. Needless to say we will not be returning.

We had a wonderful 2 days over Christmas. The staff were helpful and friendly. Especially Mark the restaurant manager. He does an excellent job.

Nice modern rooms but superior room was cold, had to downsize to standard room so it was warmer. Breakfast could be better but service was very good. Beds are comfy with nice flat screen TV.
All in all a good stay but not perfect!

Room very small for two people. Bed very small. Room cold noisy and a lack of hot water. Bar and restaurant overpriced eg 2 burgers 1 red wine 1 none alcohol beer £51. Felt ripped off at £130 for one night.
