This is a basic 3 star hotel definitely not a 4 , Dark and dingy bar area, no coat hangers no extra pillows, we had a side sea view room with a lovely view but no balcony that you could sit on.

The staff were really nice and helpful. Bathroom floors very slippery when wet. Only 1/2 shower door so floor always got wet.

We liked nothing.None of the hotels facilities were open ,breakfast was shocking.staff not interested.Never a 4 star 2 maybe at a push.Extremely disappointed never had this problem booking threw expedia before..We left after 1 night booking into somewhere else.

Excellent hotel, 2 blocks from the beach. Only issue is that the rooms take awhile to cool because there is no air conditioning in the hallways

My husband and I had an amazing stayed at Family Gallo Rojo Hotel. The staff are wonderful. We felt very comfortable in the hotel because the staff are very friendly. Location, swimming pool and rooms are great and the beach is one of the best that I I have been in my life. I will defenetelly come back to this hotel.

The room was spotlessly clean including the bathroom.The beds were comfortable no problems sleeping and a great side view of the sea from the bed as the sun rises.There was a 3/4 sunken bath with a shower which was powerful.The location was perfect for us 500m from the main strip of shops and restaurants and beach.We had continental breakfast which was top notch.We didn't use the pool so can't comment.The staff were very friendly and helpful.We would definitely come back to hotel when in El Campello again.

It was such an amazing stay, short but sweet, staff were 10/10, very welcoming and helpful. The area was absolutely amazing, literally 2 minutes away from the beach. Everything you could ask for in a hotel!

Great setting. Just a 5 minute walk to the lovely beach and great staff that went out of there way to help from the breakfast personal to the people on reception. We have had a lovely few days and will certainly be returning

Hotel was in a great location close to the beach, restaurants and train station. The bed was a good size, but mattress was hard. View from our room spectacular!

Hotel clean and tidy good continental breakfast, room a bit noisy lift one side and noise from room the other side. Not a bad stay but I found campello a bit on the expensive side.

Fantastic!!
Love staying at this hotel, which we do 2-3 a year whilst visiting family nearby. It is central to everything in Campello. The staff are so helpful & nothing is too much trouble. We contacting the hotel direct to up-grade to a room with a terrace, this exceeded our expectations! Fantastic views with sunbeds & table with chairs for relaxation. Highly recommend! (Do not confuse La Familia Gallo Rojo with La Familia Hotel, which is another hotel in Campello)

Everything to do with the property was great but Expedia did not advertise the property properly and you have to pay for parking the sauna and jacuzzi and it says free on Expedia

Its a great hotel staff very friendly.pool area not great. Rooms comfortable but we were on floor 9 and the water pressure not good either to hot or to cold when showering. Upon saying that we have stayed here for the last 3 years and are going back again in october.xx

New year getaway!
Amazing from start to finish. We juat wanted to chill out and that was just what we were able to do. The room was sea facing with a big balcony. Im a wheelchair user and found that the hotel a d El Campello totally accessible. It was tgw quiet period but still enjoyable. Thw room had a roll in shower. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We were room only out of choice but there was a very good restaurant on site and round about. The tram is near bt and accessible for my wheelchair.

Staff made the overall impression disappointing
Having arrived late in the night and not receiving any welcome pack we were expecting to find some information in our room. Staff were disinterested and couldn’t even manage a greeting throughout our stay. We were under the impression that breakfast was included in our oeverall cost last evening we asked if there was a bill to be settled response ‘no’ When checking out we were accused of trying to leave without paying for the breakfasts When we asked to see the bill it was refused and they grabbed the credit card we were about to pay with and they threatened to call the police As the cab to the airport had already arrived we paid without receiving a copy of the bill and had to ask for the receipt from the card machine Previous to this we had gone to the tourist information and asked for their assistance to arrange a cab to the airport as the hotel staff were so unhelpful. We had put this down to their lack of English and were happy to seek assistance else where however the treatment we received on checking out tainted our whole experience and I certainly wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone .We are two mature professional women and have never been treated like this at home or in any of our previous travels abroad

We are waiting your voucher including the breakfast and you made 2 reservation for the taxis ( First in the Hotel and second in the Tourist Info) You tried to cheat and you aren´t a good example for the British Tourism and we speak English, German, Spanish, French.... and you? Waiting your breakfast voucher...... Best regards
