When leaving bell boy used his personal phone to call a taxi. Got in the taxi no meter wife suspected something. Asked driver with no name for cost to airport was told 800 baht. She said that was not right. Driver called her stingy. Got out 50 feet from hotel. Took another taxi from street cost 400 baht with tolls...

"Female at check in was totally bored and unhelpful. The males on front desk during my stay we mostly very helpful and nice. Also guys on duty,porters etc, also very nice and helpful. I stayed here about 6 times defore covid and it is now nothing like it used to be. Breakfast appalling, used to be great. after first morning I had breakfast at the hotel across the road. So did many others I spoke with."
