Overall the hotel was old fashioned and a little tired. The room was ok but the bed lumpy and uncomfortable. The staff on check-in, dinner, and breakfast were great. The woman on the desk at checkout was channelling her inner Sybil Fawlty and carried on, what appeared to be, a private phone conversation whilst trying to process the checkout. We were offered to look at an upgraded room, at a price, when we arrived, but chose to stay with our original choice so the other room may have been better.

Decent stay, not great rooms.
The common areas are great, clean, tidy, beautiful. The hotel has great views and is located within walking distance of the etroubles town which is a beautiful little italian town. The food is also good quality. The rooms though are not good, uncomfortable beds, dated rooms throughout and the bathrooms are old and not as clean as i would have expected.

The property is well located and offers enough parking spots. There is also a supermarket just beside the hotel. The restaurant offers some good range of meals but not as good as local trattoria. The building is old and therefore there some issues like lack of sound proof wall and doors, hard mattress, and a very small shower cabin. It is overpriced for what it is offering (though I need to admit I had a last minute booking in high season). The goods are the staff, breakfast and the cleanness

Charming hotel with excellent service. Hotels.com messed up my booking but the concierge was able to help out. Great dinner!

The hotel is clean and staff is nice and helpful. it is also in a good location. Breakfast is great. Downsides are the internet service with charge and the elevator that does not work before 7:30 am!

A little hard to find, there are three hotels with the same name within 15 miles. Be sure to check the city on your GPS. Very nice place (pre-war atmosphere). I would clearly stay again.

Superb location in the mountains close to the St Bernard pass. Lovely clean hotel in a beautiful village. The view from our hotel room was second to none.

Very nice family owned hotel
Very nice family owned hotel. Hotel staff very pleasant and responsible. Rooms are clean, restaraunt is good. There is a lobby with entertaiment for children and families (table games, etc). Hotel is placed 16 km or 30 min by bus from Aosta on the road SS27 toward Grand San Bernard tunnel. There is small ski resort nearby (Crivacol) and a bigger ski resort (Pila) that can be reached by cable car from Aosta. Can be recommended for family staying or as a place to stay if you plan to ski in Crevacol and Pila or have other activities in Aosta valley.

A hotel to avoid
A disappointment- it is not often in our experience that an Italian hotel fails to please but our arrival after a long car journey was greeted with indifference and a long wait while a telephone conversation was completed- the bedroom while having a good bathroom had only a small window so high that it was impossible to see the mountains or in fact anything- a steel beam meant getting in and out of bed was quite dangerous- add an overpriced dinner and a grim breakfast - if we had not already paid for the room we would have complained -

Nice and friendly hotel in the Aosta valley
We were very satisfied with our stay, walking distances to supermarket, great pizza place and nice restaurants. Recommends it, but it is best if you have a car to get around. Not many sights in the immediate neighbourhood.

Tiny rooms far away from Aosta
Rooms are tiny, bathrooms ultra-tiny, no air conditioning/heating, internet machine is a joke with nintendo type keyboard and housed in a telephone booth with high chairs, and you have to pay for internet. It is lit with a spot light directed to your eyes and goes off every 2 minutes, have to wave your arms to keep it on. Sorroundings are beautiful but very far from Aosta you must have a car or motorbike. Hotel is busy with a lots of motorbikers. There is an excellent restaurant half a mile down the road to Aosta.

Beau Sejour Hotel - Etroubles - Italy. 9/10
Beau Sejour Hotel at Etroubles in Italy was a very friendly and efficiently run Hotel with polite and helpful staff. Everything was very clean, everything worked, and our room felt relatively new, including the bathroom. There was occassionally a short wait to find a member of Staff, but we accepted this is not promoying itself as 5* but a 3* establishment. The occasional wait was never a long one. Value for money for our booking was 10/10

Struttura collocata in un’eccellente posizione immersa nel verde delle montagne, vicina ad Aosta e al passo del Gran San Bernardo. L’Hotel si compone di due parti una apparentemente più moderna ed una datata. La nostra camera, nel vecchio corpo, pur avendo un balconcino era di dimensioni ridotte e necessita di un ammodernamento soprattutto al bagno. Colazione nella media, sotto le aspettative

Da vi kom for å sjekke inn fikk vi beskjed om at de hadde hatt en vannlekkasje tidligere på dagen på rommet vi hadde bestilt to timer tidligere. De fortalte tomme for rom så og innlosjerte oss på en leilighet de hevdet lå tre km unna. I leiligheten ønsket de å låse av kjøkkenet. Vi kunne kjøre ned til hotellet og få frokost, sa de. Tilsvarende skjedde med annen familie.
