"We were very fortunate to find this property in the wonderful Silvermines for a quick weekend trip over to Ireland. It is such a beautifully finished, well-appointed property to use as a base for travel further around Ireland, or to enjoy the peaceful countryside from in its own right. Karin is a fantastic host who could not have been more amenable and hospitable. We very much hope to return in the near future."

"Upon arrival, we could not find someone to get the keys from and no one was answering the phone. We did eventually get a call back and everything went well after. Be prepared to carry items through rain as you cannot drive up to doorfronts of all properties. Cabin itself was gorgeous!!! Lots of space for myself, hubby and our three teens. We woke each morning to beautiful low music from Bunratty Castle Garden which was over the fence next to our cottage. We walked to so many amazing places...

"Very nicely appointed. A fine property for a family vacation. Perhaps a bit smaller than the pictures would suggest, and the showers were comically small, but it is clean and very centrally located. We were able to easily reach most of the major tourist areas within an hour and half drive. A car is, however, probably a must. "

"Cottage was in a cute little town, within walking distance of a castle and very nice restaurants. Shannon was nearby for grocery shopping. And it was easy to get to the sight seeing locations we wished to visit."

"Nice updated cottage with easy access to all the west of Ireland via nearby freeway. Check in was a little tricky as you have to call the supervisor at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival to schedule a time. We were delayed several hours and texted through vrbo and they were very accommodating and had the house heated and open for us. Plenty of room. Nice little kitchen. Caulking on shower could use updating. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend a stay here."

"What an amazing place to spend Christmas! There was a Christmas tree in the window, right next to the fire. We slept great, enjoyed wonderful meals with the fully equipped kitchen, explored the area, walked to a pub or two and just relaxed. Loved our visit. Bernie, that checked us in, was the sweetest. "Stayed in one of the suites and it was beautiful and very clean. The service and hospitality was absolutely excellent. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The leisure centre (especially pool) is a bit tired and needs updating but other than that, a great stay. "
