"We were warmly welcomed by Paolo and his father who were charming and very helpful. The room was huge but rather gloomy and dark with all indirect lighting. The bathroom was large and the shower excellent. Breakfast was a simple affair but with delicious bread and home-made conserves. No cappuchinos available. Hotel and rooms a little quirky in a good way - only downside is lack of air conditioning when 25C (80F) at night. Easy walk or cycle into town. Secure location to leave cars while exploring city. Great staff - even without English menu and limited English with waiter he ascertained what we wanted, liked and delivered accordingly. Watch...
