Top Fisherman's Wharf Hotel Reviews

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berkeley Marina
8/10 Good
"The property and rooms were beautiful. The woman at check in was so sweet and friendly. I wish I had her name so I could let her know just how awesome she is and how valuable she is to the organization. The main problem I had was I feel like the price to park was excessive ($45 per day) and the WiFi had a charge of $4.95 if you didn’t want basic mediocre service. With what people pay to stay there, the hotel could take better care of their guests."

Club Quarters Hotel in San Francisco
2/10 Terrible
"The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient for tourists, with many attractions easily accessible. However, the property is showing its age and would benefit from a refurbishment, particularly the furniture. The room did not appear as clean as expected, and some items (including the TV) were not working properly. Although I reported these issues and requested assistance, they were never resolved during my stay. What was most disappointing was the lack of any apology, acknowledgment, or goodwill gesture at check-out despite the unresolved problems. Overall, the location is a strong point, but the hotel falls short in terms of maintenance, cleanliness, and customer service"

Holiday Inn Golden Gateway by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Seriously such a good place to stay"

Hotel Caza Fisherman's Wharf
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect place to stay with our daughter! She loved the pool, and the lobby restaurant had games and blocks that her and other kids loved, and had no issue with our dog there as well. Easy transit connections too, F street car was 2 blocks away, and 28 and 30 buses were right out front. Francisco Park (which has a playground and an incredible view) was a quick walk uphill, and some food and coffee options right around the hotel. Would highly recommend for families. Only downside was parking costs, but we ended up using SpotHero for parking at a garage a few blocks down."

Kimpton Alton Fisherman's Wharf by IHG
8/10 Good
"While the room itself was clean and comfortable, the front desk service during my stay was incredibly poor. Over the course of two different days, the hotel misplaced my parcel twice. When I approached the front desk to ask about the process for locating a missing package, the staff member on duty (Hispanic male working Sunday evening 6/7 around 9:00 PM) was unprofessional and dismissive. He told me there was "no process," for lost parcels suggested I come back in the morning or ask housekeeping, and when pressed further, simply told me to "ask Amazon" if it couldn't be found. For a 4-star hotel, losing a guest's parcel and responding with such a dismissive attitude is completely unacceptable. Fortunately, we asked again later and received a much better response. A front desk lady and her manager (who had silver hair) were very helpful and successfully located our parcel. I appreciate the clean room and the manager who eventually resolved the issue, but management needs to address the lack of professionalism and basic customer service training with their evening staff."

Parc 55 San Francisco - A Hilton Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Great but parking was so expensive, parking in teh city is expensive in general so I recommend not"

Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf
6/10 Okay
"Hotel was clean and well cared for, air conditioning unit is size of a washing machine and sounds like an aircraft in the room with varying temperature through the night. Location is good if you want really touristy area. A long queue for checkin and breakfast like a school canteen. It’s okay but wouldn’t stay here again"

Handlery Union Square Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The room is clean beds comfy. It is an older hotel but very good. I would stay here again."

Hotel Zoe Fisherman's Wharf
8/10 Good
"We had the Junior suite but were quite disapointed with the room quality, furniture and room were quite worn out and I expected the view to be a bit better (other rooms). Location was very good, though. Fireplaces outside were nice. I feel like the resort fee is a bit unnecessary in this location and we did not even really end up using the "perks"."
