"A very comfortable and relaxing stay at Manian Lodge! The staff were all friendly and helpful and the rooms/suite were very clean and well equipped. There were a lot of steps to get to our accommodation which my husband had some difficulty with. There was a lovely view of the countryside from our lounge. "We absolutely lucked out with this gem. The host, Mark, is hilarious, helpful and super kind. We really enjoyed room 8 with all the thoughtful extras. Our room had great linens and towels, tons of pillows, amazing light with double doors we could leave open and the bathroom was great with the most excellent of water pressure. They made us breakfast every morning which was nice. We took a 15 min walk and were at water’s edge. The town was lovely with good pubs. Thank you, Mark!!"

But Top Joes was recommended to me, so i took a look online and thought lets give it s go as it wasnt to far away from where i was working I have to say, i wasnt disappointed. "Couldnt ask for a better location, one side faces beach other faces harbour, weather forbour stay was exeptional so could have anywhere in the world. All bars restaurants were well within walking distance, parking could be a pain in busy times."

"Room was clean .and ok but to cold through the day and radiator in the room in the wrong place to feel any goodness from it . Found the lack of parking not good for us slow walkers . And cost us exrta £30 for parking . The fan heater in the room was not working . Had we known we would have booked there ,which would have made it better for us oaps . So not for older slow walkers like us . But at least we did try and the lift was a god send. "

"Can’t fault any part of our stay, the house was perfect 5 adults and one three year old. Lots of space, down stairs bedroom with ensuite was perfect for great grandparents. Outside area was nice in the morning to sit with a coffee, lots of green space for little one to run and explore. Kitchen had everything and a lovely welcome gift. Five mins drive to local shop for fresh bread. Fifteen mins drive to larger shop with huge selection of local foods. Half hour to small national trust beach Mwnt,...
