"Poor reception in the property. We arrived at about 10 pm. No reception open. Eventually found an envelope taped to the wall with our room key in it and confusing instructions as to how to find room. On the day we left a couple had been waiting 8 hours to check in. Staff in general vsried fro rude to intolerant. The exception being the delightful ladies providing breakfast. "Enjoyed a fantastic 3 nights at Rockypop Flaine with 3 friends. Hotel is perfectly located for getting on to the slopes and our 1 bedroom appartement was spot on! Very spacious, clean, well equipped and comfy beds! Pool and spa also fantastic and a lovely treat at the end of a day skiing! Loved the fun nature and style of the hotel and hope to return with my family as great for kids as well! "

"We did struggle with this one, even though the description says sleeps up to 6, it’s no where near big enough. We are a family with two young children and it wasn’t big enough for us. Unfortunately there was no sleeping arrangement for my 2 year old so he had to sleep in bunk beds, he fell out most nights. There was no high chair either. I do find it odd that you have to pick your own linen up from property services and make your own beds, there are no basic items in the apartment, for example...

"The apartment was clean and well equipped . It has plenty of space (we only used two bedrooms for a family of four) . The owner responded very promptly to any queries and was very helpful . The complex itself is excellent with a bar/restaurant , swimming pool etc . The link down to the centre of Flaine is v easy and quick (ten minutes or so) via the free bus , which runs frequently. Intermediate skiers can ski down , if there is enough snow."

"The hotel is in a fantastic location on the pistes just above three main lifts (green or red runs down). We arrived at lunchtime and dropped our luggage at the local ski shop, changed and hit the slopes. At the end of the day we skied straight into the hotel and had a drink while they picked up our luggage. We were fantastically looked after by the staff who were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. The food is great and real skiing portions! Breakfast was fresh and plentiful with great...
