well mattresses are less than 2 years old. Nothing is run down everything single thing in the rooms is less than 2 years old. If you wanted expensive and lavish you should have booked the expensive resorts for at least 500 a night and not chosen a well kept affordable motel.

yes the motel was built in 1958 but all furnishings are less than 2 years old. And we did listen to you complain about everything about your entire trip. I hope you went home where hopefully you will be happy.

Imagine that - stepping into a fifties motel. That is EXACTLY what we are but with all furnishings in the rooms less than 2 years old including the mattresses. If you told us of any issues you had we could of addressed them. Also that extra 4% is clearly stated when you make your reservation. READ

ok.. this poor lady has complained anywhere and everywhere spreading her lies. We clearly advertise our guests have access to bet pool and tiki bar in Marathon.we have a complete porch "sun deck" and garden areas all around the motel.The bbq garden is in the back and is enjoyed all the time by our guests.As for roommates you must have brought your own. Our pest guy is here once a week to keep our rooms clean and pest free.We are so sorry you are miserable but are thankful we will never see you again.

So YOU book the wrong dates online thru Expedia and we get a terrible review??? We tried to help you but you did nothing to correct the issue. Take responsibility for your own actions and do blame an innocent party.. YOU even admit Expedia probably made the mistake but still we get a bad review when you never even stepped foot on our property. WOW.

We have never had mildew or mold in our rooms. Everything in rooms is less than 2 years old nothing run down or sagging.

You booked the smallest most affordable room and now you are upset about it??Remote control for air conditioning was beyond your comprehension .Unfortunately Comcast cable had satellite issues and none of the keys had internet as was explained to you.

you apparently did not look around or ask us any questions. Most highly rated pool in town, restaurant 30 second walk, tiki bar temporarily undergoing renovations. We could have directed you to more but you were just miserable. Next time book a more expensive hotel if you could afford it and then you might be happy. Don't book the most affordable place you can find and expect the Taj Mahal.

Thank you for a great review. The walls are actually concrete block and usually very quiet.

We did find a clog in the shower after you left 5 pounds of hair on the drain. The blackout curtains cover the entire window. There was no blood anywhere in the bathroom. All remotes are cleaned and sanitized daily

Well this review is no surprise. In all of our 30 years owning the motel this has to be the most disgusting guest we have ever had the displeasure of having stayed with us. The guest screamed at us the he was recuperating from brain surgery and could not be disturbed for his 14 day stay. So my housekeepers would try and meet him at his door to supply him with fresh towels and supplies. He would not allow us to enter the room.Finally after more than a week of this, the stench coming from his room was sooooo bad it was gag worthy and we insisted on entering the room to see what the problem was.OMG. we should have been wearing Haz Mat suits. He had been defecating in the shower and leaving his "piles of poop" just lay there. There were urine stains everywhere in the room and rotten decaying food strewn everywhere. Blood soaked bandages were everywhere as well. The room was like an episode of hoarders at full tilt. We told him we needed to clean and he kept screaming at us to leave. We had to call the sheriff and have him escorted off property and trespassed to not return. It took every ounce of bleach and disinfectant to sterilize the room and repainting.Beyond nightmare.

hello thank you. motels are always built by roads therefor the traffic. drains do get clogged if you shed a lot of hair. mattresses are only 2 years old. sorry if you found them uncomfortable but people have different preferences for hard or soft and we cant please everyone unfortunately.

well we rate you 4 out of 10. absolutely sloppy room.

well you did not mention any problems here or to us in person so we are happy you are gone so we can have new guests that actually enjoy their trip.

thank you for a great and honest review. Comcast our internet and cable provider has been experiencing issue and they are have been slow to fix things beyond our control. we apologize for the internet issue but as of today things are much better.

Yes it is.. especially considering all we offer other small motels do not..

the plumbing was fixed with 30 minutes of you advising us about it. our beds are less than 2 years old and none are worn and sunken. How big a trash can do you really need. nitpicking much?? we are in the tropics and use a mild bleach so we do get mold or mildew from the weather. Next time pay another 300 per night for one of the resorts so you can find a larger trash can... just really???

If you had issues you never mentioned them to us. If you had we would have checked them. We actually get compliments daily on the cleanliness and up keep of our older motel. The state inspector always tells us we are the cleanest and best of all his motels that he inspects.
