"Overall, it was a good stay. The first floor has just been renovated, so the breakfast area and front desk was very nice. The room was a bit outdated, but offered a lot of room for the 6 of us. It had a king sized bed in one room, and 2 queen size beds in the other room, plus a pull out sofa. In the bathroom, it had a stand alone shower and Jacuzzi tub. Very spacious, but will be better when they update. Overall, comfortable stay, and great customer service. Breakfast was pretty good too! "

"Needed a room for my mom in law later in the evening and they were close to Torrington. Decent reviews so I sent her there but made the reservation after 9.. Small print said they don't answer the door after 9...she tried to get an answer fr 20 minutes and didn't get a response so had to send my 76 year old M-I-L down the road to a chain hotel. $55 down the drain."

"Right on the river. Everything one would expect of a fine facility was there. Originally had us in a second floor room. The facility does not have an elevator. When I told them my wife was handicapped and had support equipment, they switched us to a first floor room."
