"We had a lovely stay in the lodge over new year! The lodge was perfect, lovely and clean, great space for a family of four, and made even better with little touches by the owner such as essentials like tea/coffee and biscuits and even a Xmas tree! Would definitely love to stay again "

"Having stayed at Retallack several years ago, we found that things were much the same, but obviously with more development going on. Our lodge looked a little tired, compared to where we stayed before, perhaps because it is up for sale, the owners have lost interest. The upstairs balcony was rather dirty with bird droppings and the wood was rather slimy, which made it more or less unusable as a pleasant place to sit. "We were a bit nervous having read some poor reviews for Whitsand Bay Fort but this unit is privately owned and was perfect for us as a family of 4. Everything we needed was provided. If you're looking for lots of beach time, the closest beach is Treganhawke which is absolutely beautiful and there are life guards on duty however the climb is really steep so be prepared 😀"

"The house is even better than the pictures. There were eight of us and plenty of space. Loved the various outdoor areas and the open plan living space meant we could all spend quality time together playing games and eating. Luxurious bedding and high end bathroom facilities. Laundry room was handy. Kitchen was well equipped. Location was great. Visit Porth beach which is easy accessible for older people. Open air bus to Padstow was fun and popup cocktail bar at top of Lusty Glaze does great...

"Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

""Out of the Blue" was quite stunning --- *very* well equipped and comfortable, and an amazing view out of the front windows. Hosts are very helpful and friendly. Hoping we'll be able to go back as we really loved it. Thoroughly recommended."
