"Stayed here to get great views and easy access to the Mt. Fuji area, while also getting a traditional Japanese Ryokan experience and it did not disappoint! The property and rooms were very clean and well kept. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They have a very convenient shuttle that goes to the main local train station (Kawaguchiko station) which was super useful (you just have to note the times, because it doesn't run the whole day). "This hotel was my favourite experience in Japan. The most striking feature is the view of Lake Kawaguchi upon entering the room. The room is also spacious and you are supplied with a yukata to wear inside the hotel. This adds to the experience of immersing yourself in the culture. The whole hotel can only be navigated in the supplied house slippers (shoes left in lobby). The parts that stood out to me was the food we had for breakfast and dinner (half-board). I always left too full to move!...
