My name's Yanjuan Fan , i was booking Superior Room, 1 King Bed (Smoke Free) 08/28-08/29 /24 from Red Roof Inn Plus Galveston - Beachfron, during i booking the policy did not mentioned $50 deposit. After completed booking online Expedia, when i with my husband arrived RedRoof during check in, the worker asking extra $50 for the deposit, we rejected ,he has't give us the room for us to check in, we didn't stay the night at Red Roof Inn Plus Galveston - Beachfron. I need refunded the money to me

We really enjoyed the pool for my daughter it was the beat part of our stay. Also it has a very convenient location right by the breathtaking ocean of galveston our night was peaceful at the hotel no weird noises or people. One thing we disliked was someone with a dog left their business infront of our way to enter our room. It sucks people take advantage of the privilege given to be able to take their pets with them.I have no problems with pets its just bad owners don’t have responsibility for them.

This was the first and last time I will ever stay at a Red Roof Inn. The room was sparsely furnished and the desk chair was old, beaten up rusty and didn't roll on the floor well. There were crackes in the walls and some mold in the bathroom. The property is infested with huge roaches that come out after sun down. There was a thunderstorm that knocked out power and when it came back on the room had no air conditioning unlit later in the evening, even though other rooms had working AC at that time. After the storm, we didn't have hot water for 2 days. Other guests had this issue too. They only give you 2 little, almost hand towels to use in the shower room. I had to tell the front desk that the hair dryer didn't work. They replaced it by just putting another wall mounted unit on the counter, leaving the broken one on the wall. I also had to tell the front desk that the shower gel was empty, the cleaning crew did not fill it until I said something and only filled it once. The bath mat was never replaced while I was there. When bringing these issues to the front desk, I was met with attitude. This is a terrible hotel and I would not recommend it to anybody.
