"Everything was great! We didn’t eat at the restaurants nor use the spa. Our room was amazing! We were upgraded to a junior suite. Everything is immaculate. The hotel was conveniently located to all major sightseeing locations. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Great stay! Highly recommend!"

"Incredibly convenient hotel. You literally step out of your hotel onto the water front. You can see St Michaels Bridge from the doorway. We absolutely loved Gent and staying at this Marriott Hotel was the icing on the cake. Nothing to dislike."

"Close to the centre of Gent with a tram stop directly outside to take you to the train station, or a 20 minute walk. Beds comfy, rooms clean and warm ,shower hot, good for the price. Cafés nearby if going out for breakfast. Other guests were noisy late one evening but this was quickly resolved by the night staff. The walls are a little thin. I have stayed here before some years ago and would stay again. "

"The hotel is very clean and tidy, however it also reflects the age of the building, so it is not modern and swish but more rustic and practical. What this hotel has is the central location with a short 5 minute walking distance to St Bavo's cathedral and the main attractions/shops. The hosts are warm, friendly and very helpful. If you travel by car, you can drop off luggage on the side road next to the hotel but will have to park closer to the central areas which are not free but not...

"Quirky historic hotel in a very quiet part of the city, but just a few minutes walk from the centre. Great staff, lovely breakfast. Well appointed room and bathroom. Only slight criticism is that the double bed was two singles pushed together and they were very "mobile" so would drift apart easily!"
