"Amazing house for a short weekend away with friends. We came for Easter weekend with a large group of 19 people. We ordered pizzas from the local pizza restaurant under David’s recommendation which made cooking easier and were great pizzas that arrived nice and hot. We did spot a mouse in one of the rooms however but as people who live in the rural countryside ourselves, it’s expected in these types of properties. "Lovely property full of character, but what sets it apart is the beautiful location on the edge of the National Trust estate. Such a lovely setting. Communication with the owner was excellent, and it was very reasonably priced compared to other options we looked at. Highly recommend!"

"Immaculate property, compact and well fitted out. Smooth booking process with good communication and the owner was lovely. We checked in late, 10.30pm and were were really touched to find he had turned lights on and even electric heaters in the main room and bedroom, it was so appreciated. There was also fresh bread, milk, eggs and butter so breakfast was sorted. Beautiful location, very close to park and ride and multiple areas of interest. Highly recommended.....thank you!"
