"a good stay. Perhaps some of the property could do with a more thorough clean as I ended up cleaning the whole cutlery drawer. Somewhere to hang washing would be beneficial as not every clothing item is suited for the washer dryer. Bathroom nice, but as others have commented, some amenities would be welcomed"

"Stayed for two nights at The Stratford Apartments. On the good side, it was spacious and had a good size shower. The beds and furniture were all comfortable. On the down side it smelt really quite damp and there were some amazing cobwebs in the bathroom. Great for short stays, location was excellent. It suited our needs but wouldn't like to stay longer. "

"the property looked clean and the bed was comfortable. however the lack of internet connection through the wi-fi was a great inconvenience. there was no national tv service except using one's won netflex log-in. I guess this is because there is no tv licence covering the premises. there was a good 30 min walk to the town centre, no 10 min as stated. overall the property was comfortable but inconvenient in the above mentioned. "

"Donna was a great host! Responded very quickly, and the check-in instructions were very detailed and helpful. The place was very clean and well stocked; a small kitchen with all the items you’d need, and the bathroom was very clean and well presented. I would definitely recommend, so lucky to have found this little treasure."

"Dragonfly Cottage was booked days before our arrival. There for a family gathering having lived in Long Melford for a few years previously The cottage was warm, welcoming and beautifully equipped, set with with the stunning backdrop of Long Melford church and a stones throw from a great gastro pub."

"We were very disappointed when we arrived at the property. It was in a poor state of repair with 2 of the electric heaters hanging off the wall. The toilet was dirty and there were stains on the floor. Walls and doors were damaged and filthy as were the blinds in the rooms. There was also a bag of dirty laundry outside the front door. There was no welcome pack or information about the area. Both bedside lamps did not have bulbs. The check in required photo ID to be sent which was not...

"Having stayed in the cottage over xmas i was looking for a easter break this time with my dog as well and knew this would be petfect and it was . Cottage is lovely amd clean . Everywhere in the village is dog friendly. Nice walks. Perfect easter break"
