Walking distance into the city for countless dining options. Parking in a multi story next to the hotel. Just be aware of this if you have a tall vehicle as we had a jeep with a roof rack and just scraped under. As expected for an ibis. Clean, friendly staff and good location to explore

Relatively clean, but very spartan in furnishings. Rooms very small and reminded me of bare bones youth hostels. Staff is rarely present on site. Spend a little more and receive a lot more!

Dear Robert,Thank you very much for your rating and review. We're sorry our rooms could not live up to your expecations. At only 11m² they are quite small. Our staff is on site from 06:30am to 10:00 pm; as reception is staffed by only one person and they also have various other duties as well, it may sometimes happen that they have to step away from the reception counter. In the mornings, you can find our receptionist in the breakfast room where she is in charge of the buffet and kitchen.Best regards,Hannah

Ah, let me share my *unforgettable* hotel escapade! A bathroom-bedroom combo that'll make you question reality! Transparent bath doors, because privacy is so overrated! No A/C in July, just a brilliant strategy for the perfect summer sweat fest! And oh, a non-working fan to seal the deal! Need your clothes ironed? They've got a fun scavenger hunt – another hotel across town! Housekeeping? Well, they've mastered the art of disappearing messes. Safety? Who needs it? Just open the window and embrace gravity on the roof outside! And the cherry on top – limited reception hours and a breakfast joint that redefines uncleanliness! How does this hotel have 2 stars? Your guess is as good as mine! It's a one-of-a-kind experience, but I'd suggest you run far, far away – for the sake of your sanity and hygiene!

Dear Nadeem,Thank you very much for taking the time to rate your stay and leave us a review.We are very sorry the room could not meet with your expectations and would love to know where it was that you booked them, as there seems to be a lack of photos provided to avoid such surprises as you have had them about our room facilities.Our A/C is currently undergoing repairs. We regret that you caught us in the middle of a heatwave and apologise for the resulting inconvenience.As a two star hotel, there are certain services we cannot provide, ironing among them. Our neighbouring hotel on the same block however usually accommodates our guests. We apolgise if directions were unclear and you were sent across town as it is less then 200 metres away.We are glad to see that despite the shortcomings of our hotel you retained your good humour and had a pleasant time in Graz and on the rest of your trip!Best regards,Hannah

The hotel needs an upgrade, the carpets have weird stains, the toilet seat was full of pee, and don’t get me started about the mattress…….. never staying here again.

Property is in a good area although the rooms overlooking the street do get some noise on a night from the local bar but nothing major. The staff were great and very helpful. The breakfast was pretty basic but it is the BUDGET hotel. All in its good value and thanks to the staff for their help in getting around and the cleaners for keeping the rooms clean.

Central, but not the best Ibis budget out there
Location fairly convenient, less than 10min walk to the city centre and 10-15min from the train station. Fairly usual Ibis budget, offering the basics. The first room I was given had a faulty window but after the receptionist inspected it in person I was given another one. That one was mostly ok and fairly clean - except for the carpet which was full of stains. Some confusion about the check in: information from an automated message sent by the property about the reception hours didn't match the reality on the ground - and the real reception hours didn't match the claimed check in time. There are few budget alternatives in Graz - this is an option on the cheaper end if you accept this is not a property in perfect shape.

Good value hotel in a good location
This was a very good value hotel for a one night stay in Graz, nicely located between the train station and city center. The room was clean. My only criticism is that there was a constant noise, like a fan running all the time. Luckily this stopped during the night so that it was possible to sleep.

An economy priced room in an excellent part of the city (between the train station and the historic inner-city). Because it's a budget hotel, I can't complain too much. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The only issues I had were the wifi was occasionally so slow it was unusable and the AC was very weak. But I would still stay here again to save a few dollars.

It is a very average place with basic amenities. WiFi coverage was horrible inside the room, which was very inconvenient being a foreign traveler. Staff was nice. Quite close to the tram line, which was good in terms of transportation during the day time.

Recommend to people traveling to Graz
The location of the hotel is good. Arrived near 9 pm and still had front door service. Next early morning check out is easy, no need to talk to the receptionist and it was self check out.

Good for a short stay
Was only there shortly. Check in was quick. No traditional room keys, but a code to punch in to get in both the room and into the hotel after reception is closed. No check out necessary.

Perfect for a budget stay in city center
Ibis Budget is a perfect location near the vibrant market of Lenzplatz with lots of little shops and restaurants. The young scene meets at Lendplatz to have a sip of wine at Macello or breakfast at Süsse Luise. The hotel is basic but with everything we needed for a one night stay. Close to the center and easy to park in the private garage for € 10 per day.

It was a very affordable room but found bed not comfortable and tiny! Tbh id rather pay the extra nx time for somewhere else. Quick and convenient.

Usual Ibis budget with a private parking
What's good about Ibis Budget is you always get the same quality, same room, same everything. Walking distance from the centre, parking available at 10EUR per day under the building.

Weird shower situation
Very basic hotel. Small pillows, one duvet on bed to share for two people. The shower is in the main room, not in the bathroom. So, it opens into the sleeping area. The shower has a glass door, so if you are sharing the room with someone you are not extremely close to, it is weird, well at least until the glass fogs up or you need your towel. No space to put two bigger suitcases because the room had no floor space. But, you get what you pay for at 55 dollars a night. Breakfast is good.

It is really designed to be cheap, that is ok if you don't have a good budget, it is clean, but the air conditioner was set up not to cool much, the basin is inside the room, the breakfast 7.5 euro is good for 7.5 euro but no egg.

Die Öffungszeiten der Rezeption wurden nicht eingehalten. Die Haustür war nach 22.30 Uhr offen, sodass jeder ins Haus konnte (Rezeption geschlossen!). Der Teppichboden war ekelig schmutzig. Im Zimmer hatte das Leintuch Löcher und eine Beleuchtung hing samt des Kabels von der Decke. Am Rollo hatten auch schon mehrere Leute gebastelt, weil der Befestigungsring kaputt war... Warum Accor mit dieser Marke "Ibis Budget" seinen Ruf ruiniert, ist mir vollkommen unklar. Einmaliger Versuch - sicher nicht nochmal!

Leider war es aufgrund eines technischen Gebrechens kurzzeitig nicht möglich die Hoteltür zu verschließen.Wir entschuldigen uns auch für die Unannehmlichkeiten bei der Zimmerausstattung. Unser Haus ist leider schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen - eine Teilerneuerung der Zimmerausstattung wird allerdings im Laufe des Herbst vorgenommen.
