"Basic safari hotel. Institutional catering. Unfortunately, the Safari vehicles were worn out and very uncomfortable. They had not replaced the shock absorber which made the drive very uncomfortable. Convenient to Cape Town, but clearly not the right bush for giraffes which had their heads permanently bowed due to lack of any trees."

"Wonderful. If you are coming to Outdshoorn this is the place to stay. We loved it. The building, the room, the staff and the food all First Class. Wish we had stayed longer. It is most definitely a place we will return to for a longer stay.When we arrived they showed us the smaller room we had booked and for a small supplement we upgraded to a lovely larger room."

"All good except the breakfast. It is not on site you get a voucher to go elsewhere. With the Covid I thought this was not right as we weren't informed of this beforehand. We specifically chose a place that included breakfast so that we did not have to go out in Beaufort West. We had to take a takeaway breakfast delivered to us from the place called 4 Sheep and it was disgusting and cold. If you stay there DO NOT include breakfast. "

"What an amazing place this is. This was our third time staying here and, as usual, we loved everything about it. We even found fellow Christian’s on the staff there who made us feel like family. In our opinion this is the best place we have stayed anywhere in Africa. It just suited all our needs and gave us (a group of 3) time to unwind. Thank you everyone at WHK. "One of the best experiences of my life. The property is beautiful with amazing views. The booking includes the lunch, dinner, Breakfast and 2 game drives. Be sure to get to the property by noon and enjoy the views and Spa treatments (affordable and very relaxing) the sunset game drive was beautiful and we saw Giraffe, lions, elephants, hippos and zebras. The staff is helpful and do their best to make our experience very entertaining and exciting. Loved our stay!"
