Oh, where do I even begin with this little gem of a hotel near the old town? Let me just say, it was simply delightful from start to finish! From the moment I stepped foot through the door, I knew I had stumbled upon something special. First and foremost, cleanliness was evident in every nook and cranny. I have never seen such pristine rooms in my life! The attention to detail was impeccable, and it made me feel instantly at ease knowing that I was staying in such a spotless environment. Kudos to the housekeeping staff for their exceptional work! Now, let's talk about the staff. Wow, oh wow! They truly went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of extraordinary. Their warmth, friendliness, and genuine willingness to assist with any request or inquiry made me feel like I was part of a big, happy family. Their knowledge of the local area and their helpful recommendations were invaluable. I truly felt like I had a personal concierge at my disposal! Kudos to Ana and Klevis! It exceeded my expectations in every way possible. If you're looking for a clean, safe, and cozy place to stay near the old town, with a staff that will make you feel like family, then look no further. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Hotel Galxies was nothing like we expected from the photos. They make the lobby nice with bright lights marble but once you go up to the rooms that completely changes. The room we stayed in was claustrophobic and dark. Bathroom was super small and had a very unpleasant smell. The room as a whole was very small we didn’t even have room to open our suitcase without it being in the way. Although the hotel was in walking distance to the Hippocrates Square it was a very unsafe and unpleasant area to be walking through. We were constantly looking over our shoulder. Overall we didn’t enjoy our stay whatsoever and would not recommend

Dear Mrs Alexia Thank you for visiting our hotel and spending some time to review.We understand that you got upset because we did not return your money when you had to leave earlier from the check out date due to personal issues.We are sorry for that and we hope everything is fine, but the hotel cannot return money in such a case.Your comment is highly inaccurate and unfair for the hotel, as all types of rooms (Economy, Standard, Deluxe and Junior Suite) and all hotel areas have 100% real photos.Our clients verify and appreciate this fact on a daily basis.As for the area around the hotel and the way to the Medieval Town, it is absolutely safe and nothing has ever happened.We wish you all the best.

Very nice stay
Such a nice hotel. Nice and spacious and nice to have the option to have breakfast in your room so you could eat it on the balcony. Only downfall is the shower, it wasn’t attached to the wall so the floor did get very wet !

This is an excellent family owned/run hotel in Rhodes Town. Excellent staff who are all friendly, helpful, and really make you feel at home. The rooms are comfortable, and very clean thanks to the maids.

Mosquitos in bathroom so many bites had to see a gp in UK . No complimentary water on first day, just glasses saying complimentary. Asked to use my son's room to get changed after I checked out, he was out for the day on a boat trip but was told to pay 5 euros.

Good choice
This hotel is central to the "real" city so the area is busy in winter and summer. It was a good choice in the off season. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are just fine although you may find the bathrooms a bit tight.

This is a very good choice in the off season. It's in the center of the "real" city so it remains busy in winter and summer. The staff and owners were most helpful and the hotel is comfortable and quite good value. I will say that the bathroom and shower are a bit tight but everything works fine.

Great location (walking distance to old town, shops and restaurants close by), friendly staff, clean rooms and everything. But a bit unflexible. (Bicycle has to be kept outside, no food in the room).

Small but excellent hotel with exemplary staff that are courteous, knowledgeable and only too ready to help. The location is about 20 minutes walk from the Old Town if you are reasonably fit and about the same to the Ancient Stadium and Acropolis. My spotless room was cleaned daily and sheets and towels changed. As others have noted, the bathroom was very small and the unenclosed shower (just a curtain) took some getting used to and proved a bit of a challenge to use, particularly for a six foot two guy! This was about the only negative for me, and bearing in mind the very reasonable room rates, I would certainly recommend a stay here.

A top city hotel in a great destination- try it!
A Great experience in an exceptional hotel - with clean & efficient rooms, decorated in harmonious neutrals. The general environment is peaceful & pleasant. The staff are really fabulous ; all are friendly, helpful and welcoming - from reception to housekeeper to managers. Overall, an excellent city hotel - with the added perks of a large meeting room and individual, private business centres.The wifi is fast and reliable. Location is in a convenient part of Rhodes town, with coffee shops ; cafes ; restaurants; supermarkets, banks and local buses on the doorstep! Also exceptional value re rates & highly recommended. This truly is a wonderful discovery on my Summer- into- Autumn 2018 travels so far.

Hotel Galaxias Rhodes Greece.
All though this Hotel is closing at the end of October2018, For Refurbishment .It was excellent. Reception personnel were welcoming, very helpful to all kinds of queries we had, recommendation of local taverna's were excellent. our stay was most enjoying and relaxing. highly recommend this city hotel.

An Excellent Hotel.
This is an excellent hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Towels were peplaced with fresh clean towels every day. The owners, and all staff were first class throughout my stay. Very helpful when it came to providing information about places to visit. I would deffinately stay at this hotel again if i am back in Rhodes.

Good hotel
Upsides-A good hotel to stay at, staff very friendly and helpful with directions to most attractions. Not a far walk from old town, only about 10-15mins and directions easy to follow on the map you're given at check in. New town about 30mins walk with the Acropolis about 20mins in the opposite direction. The beach is close, literally a straight walk down the road till you reach it. The staff give you a sheet with recommendations on check in which was very helpful. Downsides- the room wasn't cleaned properly every day. The floor wasn't swept or mopped so if you went to the beach the sand was still everywhere the next day. Towels changed everyday even if you had them hung up not wanting to be changed. Bedding only changed if you stripped the bed yourself for it to be done. Very noisy with other guests walking up and down hallways and talking/shouting. But can't be helped very much. Had instructions to change the TV to English but all the channels stayed in Greek.

Fantastic little hideaway ☺️
Great little hotel. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful even told us about his favourite little restaurant in the old town which was beautiful and amazing food . The hotel is about 15minuits walk outside the old town walls but if you don’t like to walk you can get a taxi to the old town and port for about 7 Euros . Will definitely be going back again in the near future .

Hotel Galaxias was great. The service was amazing. They couldnt have been nicer or more helpful. The hotel is centrally located being about a 15 minute walk from the old town or 5- 8 euros for a taxi to just about anywhere. The rooms are basic, but very clean, ours had a lovely balcony. There is very pretty, comfortable lounge and good restaurants across the street. Coffee shops abound.

The absolute friendliest, most welcoming staff. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The rooms are always so clean and comfy. You can walk to old town, new town, or even the beach. The only hotel I choose to stay at when visiting Rodos.

This is a nice clean comfortable hotel only about 10-15 mins walk from the nearest point of the old town at agios athanasios gate. Katia and Marina on reception always helpful and welcoming. My room was perfect facing on to the rear garden. Flat screen satellite TV , air con and safe box all included in the price; also a fridge in room to keep drinks cool and the wi-fi signal is good too. Free tea and coffee in the lobby all day.

Away from the bustle...
On arrival 22.00 Katia was welcoming and provided information about local restaurants , transport and places to visit. She also recommended a local restaurant that was still open and they too welcomed us, helping with an unfamiliar menu. The restaurants listed close by are all worth a try for typical Greek food. During our stay Katia and Marina cheerfully helped us with queries about tourist sights and timetables etc. The hotel is well maintained and the linen (towels and sheets ) is changed daily which made us feel well looked after. The old town is about 10 mins walk or there are buses with stops close to the hotel. There is a cafe opposite and a supermarket a few hundred metres down the road. An excellent place to stay if you prefer to be away from the crowds in town.

Lovely hotel, hideous noise pollution
Hotel staff were utterly wonderful but if you want to rest at night this hotel is not the place to be. Road noise is just terrible plus broken pavements and dogs poo everywhere is not what you pay so much money for. The Greek people are lovely, Rhodes is ruined by humans particularly the 5million that visit annually.

Good City Hotel
Everything to do with this booking and stay was excellently carried out by the hotel staff. The booking was done very efficiently including booking a taxi to pick us up at the airport to take us to the hotel. The room was very nicely laid out, the modern touches were good. The staff were very polite and efficient and the hotel provided us with everything we had asked for.

The hotel is located in a perfect area, away from the regular tourist spots in a residential area but not too far away, just what we wanted! Within walking distance to attractions (e.g. Old Town, the harbour etc). The room was very clean and the staff were lovely!

A nice hotel in a good location for beach and the old city. Excellent service from all members of staff especially Katia who advised us beforehand on arrivals and gave us very helpful advice on how to get to the old city, what to see etc. Overall we loved it.

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff.
Our hosts greeted us with an email that provided details about various transport options to the hotel from the airport (according to budget) and requesting our arrival time. Our rooms were ready on arrival. The staff spoke English and Greek very well and greeted every one of our requests for service or information with enthusiasm and helpfulness. Rooms were clean and all staff lovely. They organised a hire car for us with minimal fuss and excellent rates. The old town is a 10-15 minute walk. A great budget hotel that we recommend to others.

An excellent hotel.
This is an excellent hotel. All the staff i had contact with throughout my 7 nights stay were great. Everyone was polite, helpful and could not do enough to make my stay here a good one. I was given a very useful information pack on arrival. This has sugestions of places to visit and how to get to them. It gives details of local buses and bus stops. My room was always kept very clean. Even my private balcony was cleaned every day. The towels in my bathroom were replaced with clean fresh towels every day. The room has good wardrobe space. The air conditioning in my room worked really well and was a real blessing. Plus, the fridge in my room was really useful for keeping bottles of water cool.

Very quiet had a good night sleep
Arrived at the hotel very late was a bit disappointed that there was no facilities to have a coffee. Or cold drink in the room. That aside it was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice beach 20mins walk and my husband loved that we passed a orthentic fish restaurant, and after a few hours on the beach, we went and had a great greak lunch of fish soup, and greak salad. In all a good holiday and would recommend the galaxies hotel, check it out guys.

The hotel was very helpful. Used a taxi to get there from the airport, but it only cost $5. She recommended a very inexpensive restaurant a short distance away that was filled with locals. We had a great evening with them. Hotel a short walk or $5 ride to the old town. They had a line so we could wash our clothing which dried in 5 hours. Great place...

Very nice hotel near the centre of Rhodes city
We stayed with my boyfriend for 3 days. Very clean and nice hotel, close to the old and new town of Rhodes. A lot of coffeeshops, bakeries and shops around the area. Easy to find parking around the area althought the hotel does not have a parking space. Very friendly staff, they gave us a lot of helpful information/tips of places to visit anf bars/restaurants. Very pleasant stay in general.
