Absolutely the nicest people. It was like being in your own home. Great little foyer to have a coffee. And chat to staff. They couldn’t do enough for us. Everywhere we ate was delicious. Hop on hop off bus walking distance. The perfect place to stay.

Staff were delightful and helpful. They arranged a car rental for us, held our luggage and made us comfortable after checkout, and offered friendly advice. Property is a little dated but was walkable from the pier and the view from our balcony was unbeatable.

Great for the budget traveller
Conveniently located a short walk from the port, the hotel was comfortable and included breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful and even provided a map of the area.

Staff was brilliant and location almost perfect. It was a bit noisy from traffic. Otherwise, the location was next to everything - buses, shops, restaurants, and port. Room was spacious and clean. The breakfasts were varied with plenty of coffee!

Katarina at the front desk was very welcoming. We were very to find a parking spot just outside the hotel which is very close to so many of the must do things in Heraklion. This hotel is an honest tourist hotel. Beds are clean and comfortable, quiet at night with efficient air con. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Coffee was good! This is not pretending to be anything else but an honest 1-2 night hotel for the traveler not a resort hotel but that wasn’t what we needed. Thank you for a great stay.

Wonderful stay
Very welcoming, friendly and informative staff who were always willing to help. Even helped us to bring our luggage out of your car and bring it up the elevator to our room as we had several. Offered complimentary coffee and a water refill station. Room was a good size for 3 people. Central location to the port, shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Central location, very convenient. So many restaurants within walking distance. City center is a few minutes walk and the Venetian sea fortress is right across the street. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially Nikos. He's always smiling and offers help! Speaks great English.

The Kronos hotel has many positives: the location, very close to the harbor (great view available), the old town (5min walk), and the ferries (10min); the service, very friendly and welcoming. However, this is an older hotel that could benefit from some renovation - the building itself, the bathroom... But it's very reasonably priced. So, it all depends on what you need the hotel for: for me, location was #1, and then all I needed was a bed as I was always gone during the day, so for me, this hotel was great.

This place should be half the price it was. Very run down, super loud and can hear the people next door. The property was pretty shabby, the TV in the room didn’t work. Breakfast was nothing special. Only redeeming factors were the kind staff and good location.

Conveniently situated for Port and sight-seeing.
Great position in Heraklion as it is very close to the port. Our room was on the first floor right on the corner at the front of the hotel so had a nice view of the fort and sunrise. We only stayed the one night as we had an early ferry to Santotini and it is a convenient 10-15 minute walk to Seajets. The hotel offers a breakfast from 6.30am served by the staff or you can take breakfast to your room. There is a road between the hotel and sea but it didnt affect our sleep as it gets quiet later at night. Conveniently situated for all the sights of Heraklion - fort, old town, restaurant and the sea.

Is this hotel new? No. Is it convenient? Absolutely Near everything. It’s clean and the staff is really nice. The breakfast is ok. Stick to the yogourt, muesli and fruit. And if you’re lucky, you’ll have a balcony with a sea view. Why waste more money on more expensive places when really all we do in the hotel is sleep.

The hotel nice, but it was certainly nothing special. The owner was wonderful, but the hotel itself was a bit run down and outdated. I think if you just need a place to sleep it's great!

Good location, lovely staff
The hotel has a good location with great sea views. The room was comfortable, clean and good value (breakfast included). The staff were very kind and helpful. Parking (and traffic in general) is difficult in Heraklion but Nikos did everything he could to help us get one of the hotel's reserved spaces.

Drain in shower and sink completely clogged. Very dirty hallways. All sorts of debris on hallway floor. Very dark hallway. Very poor value for what I paid.

Great place near sea and town.
Great location and not noisy considering main roads. The staff were so friendly, helpful and polite - all of them willing to help. If a slight gripe - bathroom had a smell although it was thoroughly clean.

Best hotel in town
We stayed for three nights and booked a sea view room and it was worth it. Service is great, breakfast is well presented, hosts are super nice and friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable even though a bit old. The location is perfect to discover the old town and walk by the sea. It is surrounded with a great variety of very good restaurants and located few steps from the shopping area. It was really perfect and amazing for us. Thank you very much
