The shower was cold the room was grubby & the towels were rock & had yellow stains on them. We booked for 2 nights but left after the 1st night

Fine basic hotel, great location and superb staff
Great location, and fantastic staff. They could not have been nicer. Special praise has to go to "Ali" who went out of his way to make us feel like celebrities because we've visited before !! Thank-you, I'm smiling at the memory. The rooms have great sea views and balconies, with air con. They are a little tired and for a small amount of money could be made much nicer - add shower curtains and hook for the shower head. provide some coat hangers ..... nothing that spoiled our stay, just some suggestions.

My friends and I only spent 2 nights. The room was not the best in regards of cleaningless and the single beds were not very comfortable. The staff seemed nice and the view from the terrace was beautiful.

Shabby and run down.
This hotel was such a disappointment as Loutro is such a beautiful part of Crete. The bed configuration we requested wasn't fulfilled which was the overwhelming problem but there were so many little errors/lack of attention to detail. There was no kettle but 1 cup & a spoon. The "white" towels were grey & like sandpaper, the bath mat looked like it had been chewed by a puppy. The balcony was shared with 2 other rooms which hadn't been made clear, there were no sun umbrellas in the bases which were needed as it was in full sun. We were asked by the young man that had checked us in, we assumed the son of the family that owns the property (he was the only polite member of staff and the only one that spoke english) if everything was ok so I told him actually it wasn't & the main problem was the bed configuration. He went out of his way to try & put this right but it was quite clear form the shouting and body language from his parents that they weren't happy with this. We were shown to another room that was made up in a hurry, sheets and towels were literally thrown on to the beds by the woman in charge in a most rude manner. The 2nd room was no cleaner or smarter but appeared to be the "luxury" room as there were paper slipper on the bed! This time there was a kettle but no cups, cobwebs & dead insects and very run down. It was literally like arriving at the Greek Fawlty Towers! We had booked & pre-paid for 2 nights but we left after one!

Superbe vue sur le village de Loutro. Propreté de la chambre et de la salle de bain respecté. Bonne literie. Idéal pour deux. L entrée se fait par le restaurant. Le soir vous pouvez vous balader dans le village et admirer le coucher de soleil.

Si on cherche une vue a couper le souffle c est au 5eme etage qu il faut loger. Sinon propreté tres moyenne, électricité moyennageuse, wi fi aleatoire, 1 seul petit drap pour un lit double. Bref bof bof cet etablissement ou le personnel est inexistant

Fantastisk utsikt över Loutro. Med tanke på priset så var rummet ok, förutom en hemsk stank i toalett/duschrum från avloppet, troligtvis pga icke fungerande vattenlås. Rummet behöver fräschas upp, så att kontakter sitter fast och att låset till balkongdörren sitter fast ordentligt.

Das gebuchte Zimmer war desolat. Schon beim einchecken begann die Odysse, da keiner genau wusste welches Zimmer wir den bekommen sollten. Das Bad und WC fürchterlich. Kein Duschvorhang, keine Aufhängung für den Duschkopf vorhanden, defekter Abfluss sodass das Duschwasser nur mit einer Handtuchsperre davon abgehalten werden konnte ins Zimmer zu fließen. WC-Brille passte nicht auf die Keramik (Einklemmgefahr). Der Kühlschrank war lediglich mit Isolierband mit dem Stromnetz verbunden und die Verbindung ragte ins Zimmer. Auf dem Balkon stand ein Tisch der es nicht wert war so genannt zu werden, da in Auflösung begriffen. Die Trockenstange auf dem Balkon war nicht nutzbar da total verrostet. Dieses Hotel könner wir absolut nicht weiter empfehlen.

Zimmer 403 > hoffentlich nur ein Ausnahefall Matratzen hart Matratze am "Zusatzbett" Katstrophe Zimmer dringend sanierungsbedürftig Bad-WC – Kombination - überwiegend kaltes Wasser - Säule zum Waschbecken am Boden undicht (Wasser läuft über Zehen) - WC-Papier-Halterung neben Dusche - Kein Duschvorhang - Wenn man das WC-Papier vorher nicht entfernt ist das eine nass - Brause verkalkt/verstopft (?), kaum Wasser, kein Duscheffekt - Brausekopf passt nicht zum Haken Hand- und Badetücher hart und gelb fleckig Reste im Aschenbecher Klimaaggregat am Balkon verrostet Geräuschübertragung aus umgebenden Räumen WIFI/WLAN-Verbindung selten und dann oft ohne Internet Fernseher “funktioniert nicht” (Batterien in Fernbedienung?) Deckenlampe flackert 4 Steckdosen im Raum - 1 im Küchenbereich angeschlossenem Eiskasten (schräge Verbindung) - 1 im Küchenbereich ohne Strom - 1 beim Schminkspiegel mit angeschlossenem Föhn - 1 im Bereich Bad (zu hoch zum Handy laden, also wo?) Sitzfläche für Sessel beim Schminkspiegel nicht befestigt. Preis/Leistung passt überhaupt nicht Das war wohl auch nicht das gebuchte 4-Bett-Zimmer Frühstück im angeschlossenen Restaurant (nicht im Preis inbegriffen) - Speisen selbst passabel - Rechnung unbedingt prüfen - Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen (Kellner hantiert gleichzeitig mit Müll und Speisen)
