Loved our stay at Poseidon, the hotel deserves more than its 2 stars! Perfect position in Kamari, right on the front overlooking the main street but with little to no noise. We had a semi-basement room with a lovely shared patio, room was simply furnished but had everything we needed. Staff are lovely, the restaurant was great and there were free sunbeds & umbrellas on the beach. Good value for money. Couldn’t be happier with our choice!

The hotel is right in the Kamari Beach & has helpful and courteous staff.. The convenience of being right in the beach is the main reason we booked it; however it was difficult to find parking nearby.. We had to park our rental car in the paid parking couple of street away from the hotel

Hello and thank you so much for being our guest. The best thing to do is to ask the car rental agency or our reception waht is the free parking areas nearby hotel.We are lucky to have also the private area very near to the hotel. The daily cost for our guests is 5,00euros instead of 10,00 but you have to give your room number .Have a wonderful rest of summer.

Poseidon was perfect for us on a short stay in Kamari. Check in was brisk and the ocean view room with balcony over the pool was lovely. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the beach sunbathing was exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant was tasty and there is shopping all around. Highly recommend for a value stay!

The service at the hotel was flawless from everyone, all really welcoming. A credit to the hotel. Lacking a bar, but plenty to choose from on the beach front.

Awesome property. Says it’s a 2 star but we would rate it higher. Clean, nice staff, air conditioning!!! right across from the beach. Note that you don’t get ‘free’ beach access with the chairs/ umbrellas unless you pay a fee or order from the beach restaurant. Hotel breakfast starts at 7:30 so we lost out. I think we paid more thinking that we were getting breakfast. Night life in the area was family friendly and there’s a super nice boardwalk. We preferred it here to the other island towns. Only thing was that it has a tiny shower and I didn’t see umbrellas for shade at the pool. You cannot get a bus to the airport unless you go to Fira first and they don’t run early in the morning. Front staff arranged a shuttle for us. Otherwise, perfect.

I mean the people who run this little place are just lovely and go above and beyond to help - from moving us to a sea room view (room 204 is lovely!) to organising a manicure in my room. Great place, deffo recommend.
For a 2 star hotel, I thought this place was lovely. Swift and professional check-in. Great knowledge and help from all the reception staff with any queries. Our room was so clean, had a lovely balcony and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area was clean and overlooked the beach. You could hire pool towels but we had our own. We never ate breakfast so can't comment. Would return.

On the beach!!!
The location of the hotel was great. We were right on the beach and on the main street with a lot of shops and restaurants. The bus stop was also very close so you could go to Oai. The pool was also very nice. The bathroom could've been a little bit cleaner. The lady that checked us in was wonderful and gave us lots of information. On the second day, we asked the man at the front desk for information about getting to the airport and he wasn't very helpful and didn't speak very good English. He said he didn't know to a lot of the questions I asked. I would still stay here again because of the great location and value for the money.

Hotel was nice. No luggage room for leaving your cases though. Pool is basic and the hotel is quite small. Not alot of breakfast option but location is great plenty places to eat nearby.

Dear Kyle, We would like to thank you for dedicating time to share your experience to our hotel. The fact is that we are a 2 stars hotel and our guests forget it. But I think that this is a good thing as we are trying our best to offer more than we should. As you have noticed you can leave your luggage at the lobby and if it's neccessary take or leave your things without any problem. Breakafast is optional and as you said there are so many choices nearby. We wish you all the best and we hope to see you again.

This hotel is so lovely. Our room was a beautiful little Greek oasis complete with a small balcony. The hotel walks out to the pool and is directly on the black sand beach. It was everything we wanted and more. The staff and the surrounding vendors were kind and extremely helpful during our stay. I highly recommend.

The overall experience was good at Poseidon. The stay did not start on a good note as the welcome was not very friendly and the room we got was not what we were expecting. But, two people who made the stay worthwhile from the service team: Konstantina and Alexandra: they are very friendly and try their best to make sure your stay is pleasant. Konstantina also gave us an alternate room. Pros: Location: Opposite to the beach Pool Few service team members Cons: Breakfast (not worth the cost) Rooms : Smaller( good to check the size on partner sites if mentioned) Bath: Small

Nice hotel , staff lovely rooms very small , balcony very small bathroom nice , no kettle in room only a fridge, room mainly clean but under beds and cabinets not cleaned. No courtesy room so know where is shower after a long hot day waiting for a flight

Idyllic location
This hotel was in an idyllic location, right on the beach by the restaurants and shops. Staff were wonderful and friendly, very helpful and nothing was too much for them. Breakfast was not included in my room price but I was able to pay extra at the end of my stay to have breakfast each day. I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.

Swimming pool is not big as shown in Pics. Bathroom is too small to have a bath everytime you move your hand it bangs to sliding door.

Nice hotel close to the beach
Hotel was nice with very friendly staff. Across from beach. Have to be a customer of the restaurant in front of the hotel to use the umbrella and chairs on the beach but they weren't real strict with this. We didn't eat there everyday but we were able to use the chairs and umbrellas.

Lovely location!
The hotel as a whole is recommendable and friendly staff too. The only thing is the room are dusty. They need to clean underneath. It's a must to do!! They could do with more descent sunbeds. Apart from that it's been an enjoyable break!

I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. For the modest price I was not expecting much. However, it was spotlessly clean, had a lovely pool, was a stone's throw from the beach, the staff all spoke excellent English and could not have been nicer. The room was basic and the twin beds were pushed together and the air con took a while to chill the room but it was comfortable. Hand soap and shampoo only was provided and they forgot to give us extra water but you could buy it up the street for just 60 cents so no big deal. Fridge in room worked fine. The TV had one working channel but didn't watch it anyway. Internet worked well.

Amazing property and location
Have just returned from Santorini and absolutely loved this little 2 star property, right on the beach, in a perfect location in Kamari Beach. The seaview room we had was delightful and the staff at the property were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all very pleasant. The pool was a bonus and very enjoyable.

Ideal beach front location
The sea view room we stayed in had a lovely balcony with table, chairs and a lounger, very nice for breakfast/lunch (if you bring your own to the room) or reading. The promenade is quiet, so is relaxing at any time of day. The airport is not far, so there are occasional planes coming in to land quite close but we didn't find it particularly disturbing. The room itself is fairly modern and was always kept clean, with maid service each day. The bed was a little hard for my preference but wasn't uncomfortable. The AC worked well and was needed as the room gets warm without it on in the morning when the sun is on. There is a minibar, which has enough space for a few extra bits - water, lunch snacks, etc. Also has a small freezer section. The bathroom felt a little dated but was all fine and kept clean. Our only gripe with the room is that the door doesn't keep the noise from the rest of the hotel out and as everything is hard surfaces in the corridor and stairs, sound echoes and travels from everywhere. If you like a lie in, you will hear everyone's doors, chat and flip flops! Earplugs recommended if you're a light sleeper. The staff were all very friendly, including at the restaurant and ice cream/bar out the front of the hotel. The pool is small but due to the size of the hotel it was never overcrowded, but sun loungers are limited. Kamari itself is nice, loads of restaurant options, but not lots of activity for young kids. Bus services are good to visit elsewhere.

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Just beware of the semi basement rooms and basement rooms. We got the basement and it had no views and was in an odd location.
