Stunning property in a gorgeous quiet location, owner is absolutely fabulous. Bus from airport is Euro2.50 and drops off about 15 mins away from here. Or taxi is about EURO30. Owner can arrange too. Really modern property, lovely pool. 10 minute walk to local bars cafes etc, then approx 10/15 mins more to Chania centre. Would stay here again in a flash. Pool area was perfect and relaxing after a busy morning wandering around Chania

What a beautiful, extremely clean, modern apartment. Staff were extremely friendly & helpful with any queries. We didn’t have a car but beaches, local shop and a few restaurants and bars very close by. The walk to the stunning old town is about 15-20 mins away (with another beach and restaurant's along the way) Great apartment would highly recommend!

We had a great experience at Sea & City Apartments. Virginia was a fabulous host who provided excellent tips and itineraries to make our visit more enjoyable. The apartment served our family of 4 really well as it was very spacious and comfortable. We look forward to our next visit!!

Not a good choice in winter
No exhaust fan in the bathroom. The whole bathroom will be flooded after the shower. AC is not always working in the winter. So in the winter the room will be humide and cold after the shower. WiFi barely works in our room. Impossible to watch videos or work online.

The location and ease of access to transportation. Helpful staff, assisted with bookings, answered our questions and responded to requests almost immediately. Excellent housekeeping, the ladies really made sure our room was stocked with towels, tea and coffee, cleaned daily, they were excellent at keeping the outdoor areas spotless!

We booked the "suite", which was clean and spacious, on the third level, and had a view of the sea from the balcony. Newly renovated building. The kitchen had adequate utensils, etc, however, no toaster, which would have been nice. Otherwise well-equipped, with snacks, coffee, and raki left out as welcome gifts. It was out-of-season, and we were the only guests. Very comfortable bed. Two cons: There is no drain in the floor of the small bathroom (only in the shower stall), and as the shower stall has no curtain, the floor of the bathroom floods when you take a shower. It got very wet and slippery in there, with nowhere for the water to go. Poor design for a new hotel. Also, they serviced our room after the first night, but for some reason, not after the second night. Not a big deal, but strange, as we heard staff talking downstairs and we had left out the tag to clean the room on our door handle, just as we had done the first morning. We know that they saw the tag, as when we came back that evening, all the other rooms' doors were open on our floor; they seemed to be airing the other rooms. Anyway, a very good value, and only about 1.5 kilometers/one mile to walk to the Venetian harbor, and only about 3/4 mile to walk to the old fishing harbor, where there are some excellent restaurants. Supermarkets within walking distance. A beach just a block away. Great value.

We liked our small but nice little apartment with the small sea view balcony. The interior is very modern and the apartment is well equipped. The building is very close to the city center but quite located. Chania is a fantastic city.

The property was absolutely gorgeous. Huge suite, with comfortable bed - massive and very modern! Virgina was incredible to work with - we made a mistake with our travel arrangements and had to arrive a day later. She took care of everything, refunded us when we arrived and was so responsive. Only wish we had made it so we could have spent two nights there. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the old port, but overall incredible value.

Lovely chania holiday
My wife & I have just returned from a lovely stay at the sea & city hotel. The owner Virginia & the two cleaning girls went out of their way to ensure our holiday was going to be perfect, gorgious, virginias brother & co owner never stops working he is very nice & pleasant. The reception girl who checked us in when we arrived was also very nice & helpful as were all of the persons working there. So it is a big thanks to all at the above hotel & hope to return next year

We swam in the sea and watched the sun setting into the sea within 5 mins walk from the hotel, the clean beaches seemed quiet and the area safe, on the edge of the city. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Our room and hotel modern and stylish. Easy to park and near local shops.

Amazing place, great location, and great staff
This apartment is amazing. Anyone staying in Chania, I would highly recommend this place without doubt. First of all, Virginia - the host - is extremely nice and helpful. Since our ferry to Crete was delayed by more than an hour, we were going to reach Chania around midnight. Emailed Virginia, and she went out of her way to ensure that we get into the apartment. She provided all the helpful information, even did booking for us for Samaria hike, and was always available to answer our questions. Apartment was also great. Nicely furnished, with some cooking facilities, balcony with ocean view (that's the option we had). Place was very clean. During our check-in, there were bunch of fruits, some Crete drink (the name I forgot), biscuits, etc. Downstairs in the lobby, there was free coffee from the coffee machine, which was great. Also, there is a free parking available in the apartment complex. Location of the apartment was great too. Very safe area with close proximity to Chania old city (10-15 mins walk). Overall, we had amazing time staying here.

Hotels.com made a mess with the booking however both the managers george and Virginia were exceptional. The apartments are amazing full of small details like hairdyers, irons coffee machines. They are new and 5* rooms and perfectly placed near beach and town. Highly recommend. They are very helpful and attentive to there guests. They have amazing coffee machines. Comfortable beds and pillows and soundproof. Minor glitch as had to re sign into wifi each time but service not an issue. 10/10 They upgraded us due to mistake from Hotels.com. Very kind people.

Hébergement propre et prix correct pour rester quelques jours. Cependant attention aux photos. La piscine est petite(1,5X4m!!) Ce ne sont pas des apparts avec piscine chacun! L'appartement (No2) est propre mais trop bruyant ! Pas d'isolation sonore et les rideaux des fenêtres laissent passer la lumière du couloir où tous le monde passe!! La chambre est collée à un couloir, il n 'y a pas de vraie fenêtre d'aération donc beaucoup d'humidité. L'accueil très professionnel et chambre impeccable.

Spacious apartment close to the sea with all mode
From arrival to departure we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, Mathilde and Virginia. The room has been renovated to a high standard, was in a quiet location and provided a retreat from the heat with the excellent air conditioning. Car park was on site and safe. Thank you to all concerned.

Vi skulle kun bruge hotellet til en enkelt overnatning men kunne sagtens have været der i flere dage. Hotellet lå 5 minutters gang fra den dejligste strand, hvor der langs promenaden var masser af gode tavernaer. Der kunne vi godt finde på at komme igen.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits. Appartements neufs et modernes, décoration globale soignée. Accueil chaleureux et efficace. Petites attentions dans la chambre. Excellente literie. Chambre un tout petit peu trop petite pour ranger convenablement ses valises. Dommage que l'établissement ne propose pas de petit déjeuner. Très proche de la plage. Parking suffisant hors-saison, quid en haute saison ?

gut gepflegte moderne Apartments in ruhiger Lage
Die Sea & City Apartments sind gut gelegen, nah am Meer zwischen Stadt und Strand. Zu Fuss lässt es sich in ca 25 Minuten entspannt nach Chania zum venezianischen Hafen spazieren. Der kürzeste Weg ins Meer (welches sehr sauber ist) dauert 1 Minute. Der unserer Meinung nach schönste Strand ist in ca 15 Minuten zu erreichen (zu Fuss). Unser Apartment war immer sehr sauber und ist modern eingerichtet. Ein zusätzliches Regal oder eine Kommode als Ablageort für Wäsche wäre noch gut. Die gesamte Anlage ist modern und geschmackvoll und bietet auch Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten um sich einen Kaffe zu machen, sowie einen Kühlschrank mit Getränken (zu guten Supermarktpreisen). Gute Infrastruktur (z.B. Bäckerei, Supermarkt, Café, Tavernen, Bushaltestelle) Virginia an der Rezeption war immer zu erreichen und sehr hilfsbereit. Ein Ort zum entspannen.

Tæt på Chania
God plads i lejlighed. Rengøring og service er tip top. Ligger i gåafstand fra Den Venezianske havn og byen Chania. Ulempe kan være for meget trafiklarm fra gaden lige udenfor og kraftige motorer fra bane med motoriserede paragliding. Strand er stenstrand og ikke velholdt. Strand længere væk ok, dog ikke klar med liggestole og service i april.

Goodmorning ms/ mr Kisten and thank you for the reviews. I want to appologize for the noice outside of our hotel but it is not from us. Our hotel is amost 20 min far away from the center but stil it is in the centre. So that we have a little noise, Now about the noise of airplane it is only one day per a week and i am not sure but i think only sunday. Leuk appartement dicht bij het oude centrum
Uitstekend appartement, goede service en voldoende parkeerruimte. Restaurantje, supermarkt en bakker om de hoek terwijl het oude centrum van Chania op ca. 15 minuten lopen ligt. Goed bereikbaar via de National Road naar Rethymnon, luchthaven en kleine plaatsen in de omgeving voor uitstapjes.

Bonne hotel près de la plage
Nous avons été bien accueilli par le personnel sympathique de l'établissement. La chambre semble récente, tout était bien je n'ai pas de reproche a faire. Si je devais en faire un petit ce serait la distance avec le centre de chania mais compensé par la proximité de la plage. Je recommande cet hôtel et en profite pour remercier le personel pour leur gentillesse.

Hübsches Hotel in Stadt u. Strand Nähe
Wir haben eine Nacht mit vier Personen im Sea & City Hotel verbracht. Das Hotel ist geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und wir wurden sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen. Wir haben uns hier sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Bei der Ankunft lagen im Zimmer Obst, Küchlein, Kaffee, Raki usw. Es sind alle notwendigen Annehmlichkeiten vorhanden, von Handtücher, Fön, Dusch- und Haarschampoo, Hausschuhe, Safe. Das Hotel liegt super, nahe zum Strand und genauso auch zur Stadt. Bäcker und Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Alles einfach super.
