"We completely enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as described. There were so many touches that show that the hosts have worked really hard to ensure that their guests are comfortable. It's a combination of old world in a farmhouse over 200 years old with restored stone walls, old family photos and original furniture with modern touches such as USB ports, modern lighting. It's a very thoughtful property. We hope that we have the opportunity to stay there again."

"This is a clean, comfortable house, situated about 1.5 miles from the centre of Kinsale. It's well appointed with everything you would need in a vacation rental. As the owner states, your own transport is essential. We found some difficulty with getting a taxi from Kinsale once it goes beyond 8 - 9 o'clock in the evening. The Bulman gastropub is well worth a visit, only 5 minutes by car. You need to be in good shape to manage the hills around the property if you're walking!"

"This townhouse has it all! Large and well furnished interiors, nicely equipped kitchen, and a fabulous location close enough to downtown Kinsale to walk to everything, but on a quiet side street. We would recommend it highly to anyone looking for space, comfort, and very nice ambience. Carmen is a charming host, and helped us with anything we needed as soon as we asked! Lacking the basic welcome items ie said there would be milk coffee and tea etc. No milk no coffee just tea. "We stayed at the Historic Hideaway for two nights with another couple. The apartment was clean and well decorated and we loved the exposed stone walls. We weren’t going to attempt getting the car into the drive, but we were able to find parking on the street with a parking disc. Since we were away most of the daytime hours, this never presented an issue (though we knew of the nearby parking garage, if we needed it.) The host also had great local recommendation. We would definitely stay here...

"Varun the host was great and readily available with any questions we had and we appreciated that we were able to check-in early. There was a problem with the wi-fi initially but Varun went out of his way to get it fixed as soon as possible. The location was fantastic, walking distance to everything: pubs/restaurants grocery store, etc & a few minutes walk from the bus. Bedroom was a bit small but manageable, kitchen had everything we needed."
