Cozy Comfort Near Yellowstone
This charming motel is centrally located near multiple natural wonders. It's family owned and operated, and very reasonably priced. The rooms are comfortable and SO CLEAN! I've stayed at higher-end hotels throughout the nation and my room at Wheels Motel was noticeably cleaner than most! We were visiting the area for a family funeral, they were extremely accommodating to our last minute needs, and we appreciated the personal touch service. There is a picnic and play area for kids, with a large grass area. Please note: Hotels.com indicated "shared bathrooms" which is NOT CORRECT. Each room has a private bathroom.

We stayed at Wheels several years ago, and liked it well enough to repeat the experience. Since our last visit, the owners' son and his wife have taken over the business, and made many improvements and updates. Excellent mattresses! Price is still more than competitive! We'll be back!

We understand that Greybull is a small town and may be hard to support a small hotel. The website said "free breakfast". What was offered was small pieces of banana bread and coffee or hot chocolate. When we got the room for breakfast their was only one table for four, no hot water. The manager that checked us in the night before was very nice.

Nice little road-side motel. Owner (?) was helpful and friendly. Only complaint is I wish the room had an extra pillow. I'm sure I could have asked and gotten one so not that big of deal.

We loved our stay! Staff was super friendly and helpful, rooms are roomy and well appointed. We were on a motorcycle and parking is right outside the room. Went to dinner at Lisa’s in town, recommended by staff, had a delicious dinner with drinks. Banana bread and coffee in the morning was superb. Wish we could have stayed longer but road was calling. Don’t miss the aerial firefighting museum up the road lots of history and interesting stuff, staff there was great also. Stay at the Wheels, you will it regret it!

I saw the “very clean” comments before we stayed and was skeptical….BUT IT IS THE CLEANEST MOTEL I’VE EVER STAYED IN. Very impressive - and fresh, homemade banana bread with my coffee to boot!

When I first read all of the great reviews about this place, I will freely admit that I was a bit skeptical, seeing that it is an older motel that has been refurbished. But it turns out that all the great reviews were spot on! We loved our time here. Chris and Roxanna are the absolute best owners/hosts any traveler could hope for! They genuinely work hard to make each guest's stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Their extra little touches make a huge difference. You won't regret staying here. I would recommend this motel over any chain hotel any day. Thank you Chris and Roxanna for making our stay in Greybull so awesome! We'll be back!

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The other guests I met seemed to be happy and were friendly indicating they liked being there too. Good coffee and banana bread in the morning. The bed was firm, but not plank hard as were some other places I've stayed on this trip. A good supermarket is almost within walking distance and Lisa's was a great place to meet and dine with my group.

Very good staff and professional. The property is a bit messy with toys outside but they have children so it is expected. The room is clean and comfortable. The only suggestion is to have a coffee machine in the room due to not wanting to get dressed before I have some coffee, but that’s a personal preference. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable and quiet place to stay.
