"I was extremely impressed with this location. It was conveniently located near to the international airport whilst situated in an idyllic spot away from excessive aircraft noise. The hosts were warm and welcoming which made for a pleasant stay. The room had everything you could expect. "This was our second stay, and we were welcomed by warm floors, a comfortable sitting area to curl up in with a glass of wine (available on site for the same price as the store would sell it), inviting lighting and two comfortable single beds (which we pushed together during our longer stay). Our host, Oskar, was light-hearted in his communication and was immediately responsive to any questions. It has been a delight interacting with him. I highly recommend this property."

"We loved our stay. We had almost everything we needed! The location is great and we seen the northern lights 3 out of our 6 nights. The owners let us check in a bit early and were so kind! The only downside was there is no washer. We packed extremely light because the listings said there was one. It was a bit inconvenient, but we managed. The owner was very apologetic ans even offered to do our laundry. Regardless, we loved staying here."

It was just what we needed including a washing machine to clean the baby clothes. I recommend staying here. It is a very practical and comfortable place. Papa’s pizzas and fish and chips is near and has good food. Other sights are close by and not busy."

"Arni was a welcoming host! He was friendly, forthcoming, and shared great insights about the area. He gave us tips about driving that helped us see things we might not have otherwise seen. Hafnarfjordur is a lovely port city with its own special charm. Great place to stay for a unique Icelandic experience. "

"Easy to find and near the centre of town. Some nice home touches and supply of teas and coffees. Beds very comfortable with excellent shower and kitchen. Only negatives were needs a roof window blind, window had a gap allowing the wind in and no wifi. "
