"Centric, beautiful gardens. Great vibe. However, it doesn't have an spa, they bring someone if you request a massage. Pool was cold and always with debris. If you want a quiet place this isn't one, is so close to the town plaza."

"Right in the historic city center. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants, museums, etc. Just a few blocks from the Catedral. This historic hotel is very nice, the room was a little dated but overall clean. It has A/C but I think they have a limit to how cool it can get. Nice pool area, the gym room machines were old and the main one was broken. They have a huge roof top, nice views. The restaurant food was good. They offer tours and they pick up/drop off right at the door of your hotel....

Clean, quiet, and well-appointed the hotel is a gem in a rather ordinary section of town, but it’s within easy walking distance of most GDL tourist sites. I’d say speaking (my mediocre) Spanish helped but then didn’t try my English on the hotel staff. "

"The Hotel Villa San Francisco was delightfully charming with gracious and accommodating staff. The front patio, entry, and courtyard are well maintained and welcoming.
