Let me start by saying the staff at Sugar Bay was phenomenal. Everyone was nice and respectful, my issue with my stay had to do with the operations of the hotel specifically. We stood for 5 days and four nights, located on the resort are two resturants. One of the resturants was completly booked out so we were unable to eat there, therefore we had to eat buffest food three of the 5 nights. In addition, there was a sight that addressed different things happening during the day i.e "beer pong, carribean mixology, jenga" and NONE of these events took place. Everytime I asked a staff member about an event it was always "we are checking on it". The only event that actually took place was snorkeling that we were still not even able to do because for the WHOLE resort there was only 5 sets of snorkel gear. In addition to the activities, the beach provided nothing. With that being said, there was nothing to do during the day besides eat and sit on the beach in silence. No one came around to service the beach so you always had to go to the bar, half of the cabana's were out of service and all they had was a cement table tennis game. To top it all off, the workers started fighting on the last morning of our stay. If you are a couple and looking for a fun resort, I would not reccomend this one. All and all, I was dissaopinted.
